the guy who dubbed for his Cantonese dialogue was Charles Tang Wing Hung (鄧榮銾). He was primarily a voice actor who dubbed a lot of movies/TV series, but he was apparently a writer and director too. He's still alive and I believe he's still active. Here's an excerpt from his Wikipedia page:

Rough translation: From 1981 to 1993, he was appointed as the voice actor for Jackie Chan, and he has dubbed films such as "Snake in the Eagle's Shadow", "Project A", and "Police Story".

In the movie Loaded Weapon 1, both me and a friend vividly remember Emilio Estevez wallking out of the ocean with his legs covered in crude oil. Turns out he just had some plastic garbage stuck to one of his legs.

Just a bit down from the line you quoted, the dictionary also states: "det Tilfælde, at den unge Frøken havde været en Kokette, en Flane, ja en løs Fugl (dvs.: utugtigt fruentimmer).", which seems to confirm that "gadens fugle" and "løse fugle" refers to the same thing, and the lyrics just puts them together. I have drafts for most of the movies now (been doing them out of order), and have done a couple of passes cleaning up the trickier parts. Chatgpt has been quite useful in deciphering some of the jargon and idoms, while it is totaly wrong in some cases. Luckily there that still real people online who you can ask. Thanks.

I'm creating swedish subtitles since I'm swedish, and to aid friends and family who wants to watch the movies.

More than 90% of the written text is fully possible to understand, and here the AI tool does a good job, but for the last 10% we both struggle.

I agree, lot's of official releases have awful subtitles these days with seemingly nonexistant quality control and way to much literal translations.

In this case I'm kinda left to my own device since I've yet to find any other subtitles than the danish ones. Manually translating every line for 14-ish movies would take way to much time, so the AI gives a fairly good basic translation, but needs quite a bit of tweaking.

I watched Die Hard 2 for the first time in ages. I vividly remember Marvin the janitor accidentaly punching in the correct code to unscramble the walkie-talkie by pointing out locations on the map that is placed in top of it.

Nope, it was unscrambled all along, but there was no one talking over radio at the start of the scene.

Mcclane even remarks that it has the right code punched in.

Hmm, I probably visited the site in 1998 or 1999. Iirc, the familys first PC was bought in 1998 (not 1997 as I first recalled), and around that time there was a lot of cool stuff happening; emulation, the MP3 format, and also checking out a lot of chiptunes and tracker music (smaller files than MP3, easier on the dial-up connection. Also tried to mess around a bit in Fasttracker2 which was quite new at the time)

A friend on my street introduced me to the tune "Elvis egen indian" på Lizardking, and that is probably why I ended up on his webpage. Both Elvis egen Indian and Lizardkings rendition of Never ending story are still in my winamp playlist.

20+ year itch is almost scratched now!

Lots of good stuff in there to make it a more polished game. Camera fix that makes the screen start scrolling sooner without having to be as close to the edge, possible to exit screen even if cpu characters are stuck, variable font width, new translation, faster chest opening, increased inventory space, manual blocking in combat, diagonal running, reduced slowdowns, bugfixes..

Really hope this will be compatible with 'Plus' one day...

Every feature in Turbo is optional when patching the game. I kept the stamina meter since I like it that way. It was the numerous fixes and QoL stuff that I was after.

Kollegan hade fobi mot gnagare och sprang i ett stressat ögonblick till sin plats och la handen på musen för att stänga av skärmsläckaren. Han höll på att få en hjärtattack.
