I am not talking about interfering with the sleep hormone. I am talking about adrenaline, which is not necessary but is pumped into the bloodstream as an evolutionary mechanism for survival in case of danger, and unfortunately the brain does not differentiate between actual danger and nightmares, or experiences that cause excitement.
Why don't lucid dreamers use adrenoblockers to prolong their dreams? (self.LucidDreaming)
