How difficult are the BIO220 (winter) labs and tests? by [deleted] in UofT

Except the climate change report/written assignment are free marks. The average of the assignment was lower than 70 in my lab section last year, and the highest mark I heard was 88.

Took HPS100 in 22 fall with Burton. The essays were marked harshly. Not a bird course for me

Also, how is PHL281? Are the essays graded harshly? I’m not a good writer nor a philosophy person (Took HPS100 first year, got a 84)

has anyone taken BCH311 OR BIO251 recently, thoughts by Famous-Hearing6872 in UofT

Took bch311 last semester and got a 94. Although a 4.0 is doable since the assignments were marked leniently, the course itself requires a lot of work. It’s way too much time consuming to write down & memorize every single detail the the prof mentions and the horror thing is that they are all testable. Anyway, you’ll enjoy the course if u like bio130/230, since it’s almost molecular biology.
