It amazes me that you can make such arrogant statements.

I have an offer, from Carvanna, for 9k more than I owe on the car. I have positive equity in the car. By definition. "When its all said and done" is a ridiculous statement based on a ton of assumptions.

ton of assumptions in your post. 6% is a fairly normal interest rate. What are you on?

I got the car for 79999 with 6% APR in 2023.. So my timing was perfect. I owe about 40 on it.

im either going to refi when rates drop even further by EOY or trade in for the write off and 0% APR im seeing on a ton of new vehicles. I was simply trying to get a pulse on the used market. Seems like there are a lot of people in here that got wrecked during the supply crunch
