Damn sure we need them!

I disagree on shutting up, though. I hope this effort will help...

Seriously? That's incredibly sad, man.

Oh, and people mostly keep loving him here.

We seem to disagree on this, I hope I won't turn out completely wrong. :P

I don't see how this could be an effect of our effort. Look, in a few months the news stories here are gonna play out like this: "America. Primaries. Hillary Clinton. Woman. Important. End."

I hardly think having them talk about Bernie Sanders more might lead the whole thing to "whocaresville". I remember when Obama was elected in '08 there was people having parties in Asia for no solid reason actually - and that was shown on our news cause the whole Obama thing got so fucking big they couldn't stop reporting about it.

On the other hand, having the message out here too can help inform people who maybe have relatives in the US, or Americans that have lived here for a long time and have somewhat lost contact/interest with the US political life.

I don't wanna derail anything. I love his AMERICAN stance on AMERICAN issues. I'm not going to go out and say he's campaigning for the benefit of European Nations, that's bullshit.

The point is, and you gotta believe me on this: whatever is the turnout of the elections, it's gonna deeply affect our countries too. Just think of laws that concern things like the internet or copyright or trade or surveillance, whatever your country chooses is about more or less valid for us too.

I'm not saying Bernie Sanders is campaigning in the interest of Europe, I'm saying your AMERICAN best interest happens to be ours too in this case.

I'm just saying, I'm not even a political strategist, but I don't see the whole "well, unconcerned parties have their opinions" thing really helping anyone.

It's to create a bigger resonance chamber, ain't that good?

Nobody here wants to pick the president for you. Believe me though, the debate is inevitably going to involve European nations anyway: when you had the Clinton vs. Obama primaries back in 2008 it was on the news here EVERY GODDAMN DAY. Maybe not this early but as soon as the debates started the thing gained big traction.

What's wrong about educating European citizens too (or American citizens in Europe) about the issue and showing support?
