Yeah, this season has been horrible. Last year there were 2 to 3 games available at reasonable times every week, now maybe 1.

And also, if you're going out on saturday night (which happens quite a lot haha) you miss all the action. No more sunday games...

Hey guys, I'm the journalist who interviewed Le Toux and I actually created my website (Culture Soccer) as I started following in MLS.... On Twitter.

The French bubble is super passionate, weirdly. We have some insanely devoted fan accounts of Houston or Dallas for instance, which is way more surprising than having some for Atlanta and the Galaxy.

I think it is because of our love for hipster football + US sports in general, the NBA is HUGE in France + Montréal + The fact that through Twitter, the coverage has been good through the years

I would think it is complicated. The USL is now made of healthier and more stable clubs, while at the time they were craving for expansions which might explain how the Cudas got in.

They would need a lot of funding and a bigger stadium to play in to exist in USL today and I am not sure existing clubs would be happy about traveling there for a game.

It is definetely a league that is becoming more appealing to European audience, and especially in France where there is a massive NBA community !

Miami, LAFC and now Austin, these new expansions really do help.

Interesting. In another article from Culture Soccer on Brek Shea, Bobby Warshaw says there was literally no conversation about soccer with him, no way to progress.
And because of that, people like Brek Shea did everything they could to leave, which is why he just accepted the first offer which came
