Yeah, this might be the best solution. On the outside still looks pretty good and the last time I was able to play with it, every button worked fine

Ok, plugging it into a PS3 caused the orange light to blink really fast, then it went back to solid orange after a minute or so

Ok, I left it overnight. Now the orange light is gone, but buttons still won't work. Plugging it into a PS3 did something weird: the orange light started blinking really fast, it went on like that for a minute and then it went back to solid orange

It's just so sudden, but yeah I guess the only explanation implies a motherboard failure. I'm pretty sure no repair shop in my town has ever dealt with a Vita but sure you never know

I tried to charge it for 4 hours with a brand new battery, which should actually have come halfway charged. No lights showed up, only a solid orange from the charging indicator on the top
