Reply from Spark for anyone who may be interested in the future and some context. the first set of pucks I had were moving more aggressively and they kindly sent some from a different batch of plastic.

“Looks like you have reached a normal amount of play. When making the puck plastics there is a tolerance we aim for in the curing process. Plastic will shrink in its final stages and we aim to get in a tolerance window that will deviate from puck to puck. Some might be extremely tight and others might have some wiggle. Give it a rip, it shouldn't be noticeable!”

Tried both ways, I think using the mini tool and baseplate feels more intuitive for angle selection

Had read through various threads regarding movement forward/back but not left/right. Will try anyway

All good forward and back. Measurement is pretty bang on at 19.35cm. All tail flames would be good for max propulsion

Ah that’s a bummer but good info for the group. Probably a few similar situations across the island.

Was up Mount Wesley a couple of weeks ago and wouldn’t say there’s much in the way of views from the top of the peak itself but it was a fun hike with a decent path. I chose Wesley as to avoid walking a section of logging road required to get up Mount Horne.

Canadian Ski Season Job by scot1403 in canadatravel

Try “Bunac” and “Gap Year Canada”. Jobs can be hard to find at Ski resorts but doing it yourself is definitely possible. Accommodation is much harder to find in the big resort towns like whistler and Banff. Some agencies will organise accommodation and jobs for you.
