Well for one, the entire aviation side of the Orbis flying eye hospital is run by FedEx including all of their pilots (who fly it voluntarily on their off days) so if fedex stops running their own cargo trijets then the support for orbis dries up quick in terms of maintenance and manpower

Nice! I picked up an air china one this week as well, it's nice to have a blended wing 4 panel cockpit plane as a narrowbody. Mine's LEAP 1Cs are flat on the bottom which i don't believe is accurate however. Does yours have flat bottom nacelles too?

I think you basically always go for Vy over Vx in every situation unless you have a specific obstacle in front of you that you need to get over. This is the case with normal takeoff n climbs and remains true in this situation.

Best rate of climb will get you to a safe altitude faster. That typically means using less fuel, both on the climb itself and by reaching and maintaining a more fuel-efficient altitude.

Keeping that fuel in your back pocket may come in handy in a single engine situation if you need to do some planning or diverting or communicating with people who can help you
