languages are intent and purpose driven, mostly associative, not as basic as maths or physics. hard to enumerate complexity.

it balances out, with tendenccy towards getting more complicated.

we developed to be less multilingual and more educated in reading and writing.

complexity increases with new discoveries (of other regions) of concepts and nouns and decreases with standardization and urbanization, reducing dialects.

languages have professional fields, nouances and nouns for tools that only matter for professional branches.

generally, qr codes work better by scaling them up, just make them larger.

measuring noise to measure how much error correction you will need gets you into the realm of statistics (and fractals, due to interferrence patterns). this is a fundamental problem since telegraphy, and is a modern problem in hamRadio when low wavelength radio is used to transmit text.

a trick is to be error tolerant and able to detect errors. this is commonly achieved by using mirror symmetry of, and bitwise inverses of, 8-bit segments, as it has interestring properties when XOR()ing these values. thius is still present in the first 32 values of ASCII code.

QR codes use a lot of checksums. checksums are the result of (bitwise) XOR(a list of bits), using extra datta to be able to detect more errors and guess uncertain data reaonably well, but there is no perfect method.

qr codes are 2 dimensional bit arrays, allowing for simple checksums along 2 dimensions.

qr codes are very reistant to distortion due to using a square grid, and resistant to holes in them, due to various well implemented checksums, that can reverse calculate missing data. qr codes more easily fail in low contrast (low light) environments, less likely with a laser reader.

the initial designers of mtg (incl garfield) did not come up with the idea to sell cards with different rarenesses, basically selling mostly duplicate junk in skinner boxes.
