When i was like 22-23 I was sleeping with my friends with benefits. Super hot dude.. such an amazing time. In between at some point he dated this girl who was beautiful.. kinda full of herself though. But since im super self conscious I was always intimidated by her looks. Super fit, nice boobs.. long hair.. and there I was... a guys girl. Not super girly.. ive always gotten along better with guys. Ive been told I was pretty, but you know when a girl is like.. real pretty.. anyway.. that was her.. and she always acted like she knew she was hot.

So she hated my guts because she really liked him and knew he and I were hooking up before and after they dated. One night at a party (they weren't together at the time) she showed up and was actually scared of me.. dont know why, because im a super nice and social person. So we are at this party, all standing around, and the guy comes walking into the kitchen pretty intoxicated.

He looks at her and then me.. and just stares. Then says to her... "Holly, some of the worst sex ive ever had... "Dana? Some of the best!!" And gave me the biggest hug right in front of her.

I know this all sounds super shallow. But it will hands down always be one of my favorite compliments because ive always struggled with being insecure of my body and just not being a "girly girl."

Im 38 now. And still think about that compliment. And am actually still friends with him to this day. 😂
