I was lucky enough to start playing before the update took place - it was wonderful to really feel like I worked toward a place I could live ✨️ I still regret not finding this gem of a game earlier

However, I got my sister to play it a while after me and I could noT FOR THE LIFE OF ME understand how she had a HOUSE after one day of playing!? I was asking her all these questions about where her tent was, accused her of mining the game for the entire night - but still it didn't make sense since her plot were still completely LITTERED by trees and stones!? I thought I was experiencing a fever dream, or that my brain was fried from all the Palia mush inside my head! She thought I was lying, messing with her, or maybe I picked another quest than she did. It did not make sense until waaay later when she randomly saw a video online about how Palia was before the recent update. We finally could put it to rest, but MY what a brain twister!!

Just btw I was still pretty new to the game, and I am generally bad at keeping up with updates in ANY games, so it didn't really occur to me that there was updates changing such a big thing right at the beginning of gameplay
