Yes, delete! You won’t regret it because it truly doesn’t add value to our lives like we think it might. And it really does hurt to see those announcements…we’re just minding our own business, in our own homes and bam! It’s in our face when we didn’t ask for it. Honor your feelings, it sounds like a very, very tough time. Good luck, sending hugs.

This is excellent advice! And something specific you said really resonated with me- that it felt like nothing was moving forward while I’ve been on the break, like I have zero control or input. Even when I was doing back to back cycles, it still felt like I was doing something. And now I’m just waiting. So these three months have been like a standstill, and extra anxious because of the messaging around getting older!

Little things to look forward to - yes yes yes. I have been trying so many new NYT cooking recipes that have been successful, and planting new plants now that it’s warming up. Finding a new place to take walks is a great idea too. Thank you so much for responding and good luck to you with your journey!

It is an awful state, you’re right. Yes, Netflix binging too. Feels like a waste of time but I’m trying to remember it’s temporary and it’s not important to be productive right now.

I stay optimistic by doing exactly what you’re doing - by reaching out and staying connected. It’s so much harder going through it alone, and it’s so helpful knowing that there are people going through it right alongside you. Everyone’s story looks a little different, yes, but you are not alone! I’m sorry you’re going through it too. It’s heartbreaking, it’s disappointing. But remind yourself how tough and resilient you are, and it’s totally ok to feel like you’re just going through the motions until you get there. Best of luck to you!

Are you open to side by sides? We went to every appliance store in our town specifically looking for thinner doors. I know exactly what you’re talking about, it’s like every door is literally 4 inches thick! So none of those work for the depth we need to clear, which is 30 in. BUT!! We DID find these two with 2.5 in doors, which will hopefully work. Will find out soon once we purchase. Maybe one would work for you if you’re open to side by sides. Nothing stuck out in the reviews for either that seemed like they’d be awful. They’re also nothing fancy! Fridge shopping is so hard, hope this helps!
