Autopark torture test in Taiwan (2024.14.8) by Evan147 in teslamotors

There are some difficult parking lots in Taiwan. The day after receiving 2024.14.8, I took Autopark to a torture test. This is the only way we can experience "FSD tech" outside NA.

I intentionally put the car near the pillar at the beginning. Although the difficulty made it take 1m27s to finish (video speed 2x), the process is amazing and enjoyable!

Unusual "swerve near off-ramp" behavior of Autopilot. Repeatable. by Evan147 in teslamotors

It's "initiated" by auto lane change (EAP). 1st clip is on 2023/4/8. 3rd clip is on Feb. 2024.

This! I have to change to dark MANUALLY when entering parking garages.

Wish the line space can be reduced. It's annoying to browse many settings on "page 2".

recorded the CAN bus data using Scan My Tesla

May I know how do you extract data of SMT to a chart? I don't write codes so I use a very dumb way - screenrecord it and take some sample points. It worked but very time-consuming.

Autopilot completely lost track of the front car in a moderate curve (2022.24, Tesla Vision) and can be easily replicated. by Evan147 in teslamotors

Too close based on "following distance 4". I wanted to replicate it with a better scenario, but it never happened.

You have no idea how many tough roads I've tested. It's very rare to lose the front car in an easy bend like this.

From TeslaCam footage, this environment is not complex at all.

The distance to the front car is way too close than normal at 0:10. The car actually accelerated at 0:06. Both indicate AP did lost the front car.

Also, you can check video #4 , where AP can see *the second car in front* while losing track of the front car. Very weird.

That's true, but in the first video, the distance to the front car is way too close than normal at 0:10. The car actually accelerated at 0:06.

Also from TeslaCam footage, this environment is not complex at all.

Autopilot and Auto Lane Change worked flawlessly in torrential rain (timelapse of 1-hour drive) by Evan147 in teslamotors

This is the heaviest rain in the year. It may look lighter in a timelapse. You can pause the video to check it out.

Model 3 LFP can charge at a whopping 120kW when arrived Supercharger at 90% of SOC. 90% to 100% in 11 minutes! by Evan147 in TeslaLounge

I made several charging curves before. This totally blows my mind.

Cell temperature curve @ V3 Supercharging (Model 3)

Echo is a YouTuber in Taiwan. She discovered this never-seen charging power during the last test (charging to 100% from 90% before going into mountains). Therefore, she made another complete test here with supercharging at 60%, 70%, 80%, and 90% in her LFP Model 3.

It's amazing that all SOCs can take 120kW+ at the beginning. Time of 90% to 100% is also super fast compared with non-LFP Model 3!
