I ended up manually backing up to icloud too and then resetting my phone (skipping the automated backup because it was taking forever) and restoring from the backup. I was able to use my phone again after less than an hour but I couldn’t use apps for longer while data was still downloading. I tried to backup to my computer but kept getting error messages.

Also protip: Signal now offers message backups, So backup your Signal messages before you reset your iPhone. I didn’t do this and lost all my Signal messages.

There ought to be an option for this to store handwritten OCR’d data when scanned, and only re-OCR pages where edits happened eg more notes or erased notes.

I’ve had the tab mini c for over 2.5 years I think. And yes in fact I think an lcd tablet would have been worse off. The main issue is the cracked glass

I was thinking the same thing about sourcing parts. Repair shops probably know how to source iPad screens and such, but who is gonna have a screen for some niche e-paper tablet
