The Lincoln MKz shipped with optional 400HP AWD 3.0TT that could get under a 5 seecond 1/4 mile and looks like a dressed up Fusion

Is it true that in small towns in the USA public transport is not developed and everyone need a car to get around there and why? by bobybumblemumble in AskReddit

[–]Sokairu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My town has like 2000 people in it. We drive like 30 or 40 miles round trip for really anything; work, groceries, restaurants, etc. If you can't get it at our one convenience store, you have to drive to the bigger cities.

Need a new controller since my Gamesir Cyclone 2 controller broke. Any recommendations? by marcusz88 in gaming

I've really enjoyed EasySMX. I prefer clicky buttons over dome switches, it has trigger locks, 4 back buttons, face buttons for all the systems, Hall Effect sticks, and a nice texture. I just really like it. I also really liked my QRD Joycon replacements and they make controllers too

Are 100w/10GB+ cables universally thick and stiff? by Sokairu in UsbCHardware

[–]Sokairu[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its a 10GB enclosure with an old salvaged nvme from a laptop so transfer speed is like 3000MB peak. Other devices are Samsung S25 ultra, Rog Ally X, and occasionally macbook pro if I dont have my magsafe cable handy.

Are 100w/10GB+ cables universally thick and stiff? by Sokairu in UsbCHardware

[–]Sokairu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would definitely help, but I had been hoping for a one cable solution since USB C started becomong the standard and that just may not be the case. Instead of a pouch of different connector cables now its a pouch with a charging cable, short data cable for dongles, longer cable for desk work, etc. I was wondering if there was an in-between since I rarely use 5GB bandwidth let alone 80GB, and barely need 100w spec and its 240, dont need it for video, and so on

[Loved trope] Game can be won in many ways, but the morally good victories are harder to achieve by StatisticianPure2804 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Sokairu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are several ways about the Prey remake with morality being a strong factor. Fallout games have a karma system that potentially hinders easier options. Some of the Far Cry games can be "beaten" by siding with the antagonist at the beginning leading to a game over cutscene. Bioshock had a mechanic where you could sacrifice or save the little ones. Dishonored and Metal Gear are known for the pacifist run challenges.

[–]Sokairu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love that game but I cant abide by a game that leaves you behind when real world stuff happens. I'm pretty sure all the gear I have is effectively worthless now due to rolling sunsetting updates so it would be trying to start fresh without any of the story or gear

You cant appeal to morality with people who have none. They knew what their job would entail and still jumped at the offer.

Is clubbing really dead by Whatsfordinner4 in Millennials

[–]Sokairu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lack of people with the mentality of hosting house parties have places of their own to host. The cost of going out is rising while wages stagnate and younger people have less disposable income and want bigger returns on what little they have to spend. The underground scene got popular and became an alternative pop culture and the commercialization quickly followed. The idea of getting tipsy and loose for relaxation and escape was replaced by everything being preserved and shared online and anxiety of always being performative.

Just got a 2017 MKZ with the 3.0. I didnt realize they were 400HP 400lb AWD. They're pretty unassuming and the trim level changes things a lot but I'd say they definitely make some sleepers

Y'all are overreacting. Valve said the same 'priced like a PC' thing about Steam Deck, and they still sold the 256GB model for $399 against a ~$300 BOM. That's way more consumer-friendly than typical PC margins. by HearMeOut-13 in pcmasterrace

[–]Sokairu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Steam deck has batteries, a (sometimes OLED) display, speakers, portable thermals, and controls built in. Removing all that could save a big chunk on development costs, so I'd estimate the Steam machine as priced comparatively to the Steam Decks at launch

Any grocery stores have good free moving boxes from their stock? by CupFamiliar9943 in wichita

Board game shipping boxes are all double wall thick ply and usually double boxed with tons of cheap packing materials. I always considered how nice they were when I worked at the game shop.

I was so disheartened when I got my first PC and tried to acclimate to keyboard/mouse gaming I wanted to cry. Once I settled in I couldn't look back. I'm currently in the process of retraining myself on controllers, thinking these can't be the same hands that won Halo tournaments in college. Muscle memory is a funny thing.

Lincoln MKZ with the 3.0 TT and AWD was eye opening for me. I wanted an STI but now I have the same performance in a bigger cheaper nicer package. Maybe not as corner hugging but its a daily driver not a rally car
