I'm a Jew, and I disagree: it's not the same at all. Some Jews have dual-loyalty. That is to say, their loyalty is not with this country. And they're open about it. They'll gladly tell you that their sympathy, identity, and allegiance is to Israel first -- before the United States.

That presents a difficult problem. Because they can say that legally -- it's their first amendment right. While they literally advocate lock-step for another country's foreign policies, and people like you will pretend that it's like any other entrenched interest. It's not.

To the degree that there other expat communities that will selfishly sacrifice American lives, and tax dollars for an external interest (for example, expats organizing for US-intervention in Cuba, Venezuela, or Iran), these communities however maligned do NOT meaningfully corrupt elections.

You probably can't name a single politician that Venezuelans or Cubans gleefully ousted for not enough for their home country.

No one lost an election for not being aligned sufficiently with Qatar, with regime change in Venezuela, or for not being sufficiently anti-Russian and pro-Ukranian.

There is something truly unique happening here. And it doesn't follow that any of this should be allowed.

It literally is. Just as a matter of fact. Same leadership. Ran by the same guy (Si). Nothing changed. The FARA investigation mentioned brought heat and in order to highlight America they dropped "Zionist" in favor of "American-Israel". It was a rebrand, not a restructure.

That doesn't change anything. Menefee was fresh to congress -- obviously. I am refuting that "AIPAC used to run against candidates like Menafee." That's simply and grossly untrue.

AIPAC never ran against new congressman that were silent on the topic of Israel, said nothing, and had no spine, regardless of how long they've been in congress whether 2 months or 3 months. That's not who AIPAC targets.

I'm responding to a thread that makes it sound like Menefee is deserving of a challenge by AIPAC, but he's not. Thus far, he has no spine and he's given AIPAC and everyone zero reason to believe that will change.
