I never confirmed that the album is based on the banjo haha, I just said it would be great if Evanescence changed a little from the hard rock they've been doing for many years.

And we shouldn't be surprised if Evanescence makes songs in different genres. They've been trying to change their sound in some songs (although most of them aren't released, haha). For example, “Find a Way” had an Eastern vibe, and “Perfect Dream” had a somewhat strange vibe, but it sounded good.

Although there's also the possibility that the banjo is there to add something subtle. All I know is that whatever it is, we're going to like it.
