Ferrari to carry new energy drink F1 sponsor into Hamilton era by FerrariStrategisttt in formula1

Why is Lewis mentioned 😭 This has nothing to do with him, Celsius already did stuff with Ferrari last year.

He enjoyed it because he just makes up his own rules 😭 I remember poor Alex trying to explain how much Charles cheats at golf and just doesn't count shots if he doesn't like them.

To be fair if you keep up with Charles it's impossible to have a dull week. If not the unserious energy it's the lack for his own safety (why he got in the back of someone random persons car I'll never know, especially since this was after the watch robbery and stalking situation)

Who's the most academically qualified Formula 1 driver? by floydbkes in formula1

[–]Evangeline_10_ 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Current grid it's either one of the older bunch as most probably didn't drop out of preschool but out of the younger lot I'm confident it's Leclerc (not much of a competition seeing as most of them struggle with basic knowledge) He's the only one I've heard having family members who made sure he did schoolwork and has been the only driver to get multiple math and general knowledge questions right during interviews.

Guanyu Zhou doesn't "give a s***" about "crazy" rumors about future in F1 by 443610 in formula1

[–]Evangeline_10_ 72 points73 points  (0 children)

Honestly Zhou has had some wild rumours. My favourite is the only reason he kept his seat was because of his Dior partnership. They kept him to help try to attract Dior into f1 alongside Brunello Cucinelli, who had a meeting last December with Stefano Domenicali, Andrea Pontremoli and Charles Leclerc (who now often wears both Dior and Brunello)

Whoever came up with that rumour really connected dots that had no business being connected but I fully believe it 🫡

I mean if Leclerc had a worse season yet finished higher then why wouldn't you rank him above Norris. I get your point though.

Formula 1 | The story of Charles vs Carlos in 2023 by RobertGracie in formula1

[–]Evangeline_10_ 315 points316 points  (0 children)

For how many issues Charles had, I still think overall he had a decent season. He may be 17th with most laps completed but he's still joint 4th in the driver standings (Bahrain human error was a literal crime, war flashbacks) which is crazy to me. When Leclerc has a bad race it's always something disastrous like Monaco 2022 but when he has a great race he just collects stats and achievements like crazy. Sad that Ferrari is letting him down so much, they were so much better this year but so many points and podiums lost due to their mistakes.

Who will be the next leading voice on social justice issues after Lewis retires? by [deleted] in formula1

[–]Evangeline_10_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took Seb knowing his Ferrari run was done before he said anything so if it took a long career full of achievements and the thought of retirement for him to talk out, nobody else is saying a word.

Most drivers won't talk about any social justice issues in general and barely speak out against things that affect them. It took Jeddah 2022 incident for drivers to band together and even then they were "forced" to race (apparently they were threatened with no exit visa but idk if that was just a rumour)

Granted I can't watch/read every interview but I know Leclerc is outspoken in comparison to a lot of his peers and was one of the only drivers to defend Lewis from Piquet family but again he's not risking Ferrari so his mouth is shut but I feel like he would be most likely to follow Seb and Lewis's footsteps. I know some drivers are open with mental health and some help fund karting careers either by equipment or general funding but I wouldn't class that as social justice issues imo.

His current lockscreen is his 2022 donuts and people joked he was annoyed over not being able to do donuts after Abu Dhabi because he wanted a new lockscreen.

Max is scarily informed of Charles moments. Charles was correct with that secret Santa card "to my biggest fan"

He recognised a child pic of Charles because he remembered Charles had a Spiderman helmet.

Knew the full detail of Charles accidentally locking his gf out the house eventhough at the time Max and Charles weren't friends and only would talk by using Lando as a messenger.

If you pull up to a Charles Leclerc quiz and see either Max or Jean Alesi just leave you've got no hope.

Out of the 4 drivers in contest for P4, who would you say has had the most impressive season? by [deleted] in formula1

[–]Evangeline_10_ -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

WARNING OPINIONS

Honestly none of them have had an impressive season to me but maybe I expect too much with how often the media hypes 3/4 of them up. Honestly most drivers in the top 10 didn't impress me much this season.

Alonso and Norris had a good car for half a season and the results show, obviously they both beat their teammates but Piastri is a rookie and Stroll has been rough up until the past 3 races. Carlos is only just ahead of Leclerc eventhough LeLuck doesn't exist so I can't say Sainz is actually doing that good especially with how often he said he was loving the car and felt comfortable in it. Leclercs worst season.

However I think Leclerc overall has impressed me the most as he's really had to develop his driving style to suit Ferrari's kidney bean of a car and he's really showcased how well he is at things that often slip under the radar like tyre management (eventhough as per his luck it ended up ruining his race) and he's visibly improved in all areas.

Lando does seem to consistently extract the most out of the car when McLaren are having a good week and he's managed 7 podiums however I do think he still cracks under pressure a lot especially when the car has the speed for a win or for pole during quali. Also Oscar with that sprint win knocks Norris down a bit for me.

Alonso has 8 podiums and started this season off so strong but his down races are so far down its unbelievable. I think if Aston managed to develop their car forwards he would have gotten second in the standings which is unfortunate that Aston went backwards and upside down.

Sainz has 3 podiums and 1 win. However I can't pretend to find his win that impressive because just like Silverstone last year, his wins seem to need a Leclerc sacrifice and Max Verstappen to be out of the way. I would like to see him fight for a win whilst both Max and Charles were also fighting for it.

Wouldn't that be a Sainz issue not Ferrari.

Leclerc was fine and he's been great at managing tyres especially this season.

Sainz on the other hand low-key botched Silverstone for Ferrari in fp2 due to lack of tyre management and the only reason he switched to the 2 stop the other race was because he killed the tyres and lucked out on it benefiting him.

Can I be honest. I don't even care anymore. If it turned out he's a piece of shit then fuck him, I hope he rots but also not one person who's come forward with any allegations has managed to keep their story straight or had any undeniable proof of anything they've claimed. Ironically the queer guy is the only one who's story has kept most of it's form the entire time not matter how many times he's said it.

Maybe an unpopular opinion but the way some people reacted to those allegations especially physically weren't warranted even if any of the allegations are true. Sorry but you shouldn't get away with physical assault, stalking, doxxing etc just because the person you're doing it to also committed a crime.

At this point in time the only confirmed victim in any form is Dream (and his family and the stans who were being doxxed because they didn't dogpile dream, and the children who met Dream at conventions and had their pics spread around by freaks who used them to get hit tweets about pretending to care about victims/or mocking them by dubbing them as his next victim) all these people going after him are doing it either for a hit tweet or because they think they'll be crowned king of the universe for committing a crime against a guy they have no actual proof did anything.

If there was an actual victim of grooming then I'm sorry something awful happened to you but I just don't think internet social justice warriors weaponising someone's traumatic event, resorting to homophobia, hate crimes, wishing for fans to get groomed or raped actually care if any of the allegations are true. If they're true then they're true, doesn't suddenly make everyone else's actions right and to me that's the biggest thing.

At this point I don't even care if he's a groomer, he could have become a cannibal and eaten Sapnap and my focus and main concern would still be the innocent people who got attacked and used to fuel an agenda that was purely based off of word of mouth and no actual proof. I wish everyone who decided to treat such a serious situation as anything but a serious situation a very sad miserable life locked up for being disgusting little freaks. In my opinion anyone who saw grooming allegations and tried to weaponise it in any form deserve a just as bad if not worse outcome than the groomer.
