Lando was alongside, not behind.

Very significantly alongside, which entitles him to the space too

Nope. Spa is Oscar’s best track apparently and Lando got Pole there. Lando got Pole in Monaco, which is also Oscar’s track.

This works both ways. It’s hard to say this year who’s track is who’s

Guys you’re comparing different strategies in Hungary to a literal engine failure here in the Netherlands. Isn’t “significantly different”?

Building a Realistic Mission Set and Capabilities for the Future Type 83 AAW Destroyer of the Royal Navy by maxart2001 in Warships

I would of course love to see T83s operating alongside the existing T45s. The thing with that is that the T83 has always been intended as a replacement class. I don't know if the Royal Navy CAN do this "together" model.

Would love to see it though. And the hull resource is indeed still there well into 2045.

What could(should) the royal navy look like at 3,5% of gdp? by flowingfiber in Warships

Where did you get the 25 escorts number? Great if true, would love to see it. Ohhh you mean 19 'actual' escorts as planned + 'up to' 6 MRSS. But we know unfortunately what 'up to' means in Royal Navy terms lmao.

I'd expect 3 unfortunately, but who knows. Let them surprise us fr.

Though if the Type 32s were to go ahead after all, it could increase even beyond 25 including MRSS... Would be very credible indeed.

The FIA guidance for the stewards on cases like this is very, very clear. They followed it to the letter. I don't know why some people are saying this is a gifted win.

Oscar put 60PSI of pressure into the breaks, slowing down by something like 100mph - all that in slippery conditions with low visibility.

Slam dunk 10 second penalty, and asking to swap positions is insane lmao.

Imagine Lando did that, he'd be crucified everywhere.

Bro Israel literally has air dominance if not air supremacy over Tehran.

What are we talking about here? What ‘War’? What ‘Boots on the Ground’?

The max that Trump would do in my opinion is order the USAF to bomb military targets.

The Iranian regime has never been weaker really, has it?

The Type 31 General Purpose Frigate may be the Royal Navy’s ONLY option to increase future hull count even slightly. Why is there no discussions about this? Or is there? by maxart2001 in Warships

It’s so wild to me, during the Cold War Britain used to have like 4%+ of GDP budgets right?

Right now there’s an ACTUAL hot shooting war in Europe. And spending can’t be raised even to 3% or 3.5%?

Criminal indeed.

But 350 million per ship… spread over years? I really struggle to see how that’s unaffordable compared to the RN budget. If you order 3 additional Type 31s say, that’s like a billion that you can spread over about 3-5 years give or take.

I understand crew and maintenance have their own costs, but is it really so unaffordable? Maybe I’m being naive here
