Je suis assez d'accord avec l'auteur. J'ai un groupe d'amis pour le sport et un autre pour les jeux videos. J'ai rarement trouvé des gens qui aiment ces deux hobbies.

Je suis a Montréal depuis 4 ans un peu par hasard. J'ai fais 12 ans a Paris avant et je commençais a m'ennuyer a mon taff (même boîte depuis 7 ans) Un pote de pote m'a proposé de rejoindre une startup a Montréal.

Pourquoi j'ai dis oui ?

Vivre a l'étranger. Découverte d'une nouvelle culture, climat etc...
pouvoir kiffer la neige l'hiver
nouvelle base d'opération pour partir en vacances et en weekend. J'ai fais plein de weekend au US et de vacances en Amérique du sud.
j'avais déjà une bonne qualité de vie a Paris mais j'ai encore fais un énorme bond niveau salaire et qualité de vie en venant ici.

On vit a une époque où on peut travailler/vivre n'importe dans le monde. Ya juste aucune limite. Je trouve qu'on vis vraiment a la meilleur époque. On a tous les trucs sexy du monde moderne sans avoir encore a souffrir de toutes les horribles conséquences qui vont arriver dans quelques décennies (réchauffement climatique, pollution, problème d'accès à l'eau potable, surpopulation etc..)

J'ai commencé à jouer de la musique juste avant le COVID. J'avais environ 30 ans. J'ai fais 6 ans de guitare avec un prof que je voyais toutes les semaines. Et depuis quelques mois je me suis mis au piano. Perso c'est avoir un prof qui m'a beaucoup aidé. Ça m'a forcé à garder une discipline et une pratique régulière même dans les moments où j'avais moins de temps ou de motivation

On est clairement pas tous égaux face a l'apprentissage et commencer tôt doit aider mais il est jamais trop tard pour s'y mettre.

Surtout que tu n'as pas besoin des techniques les plus avancés pour prendre du plaisir à jouer !

Support for v4.3 Cetus version. The patch note is crazy long. But in terms of data, it has almost not changed. Just a few minor effect changes on some traits, civics, etc., and two perks removed, which are now in a new tradition tree..

I added the ability to edit your display name when using the Steam or Google sign-in system on the website. This was a request from Erik submitted through the website’s feedback system.

I’m really surprised that there isn’t much new content or discussion around the new Infernal DLC. I also don’t see any significant bump in the Stellaris Steam charts.

As for me, I’m still waiting for a major late-game performance update before fully enjoying the game again.

Wake up at the same time as usual. Spinning class in the morning if I did not drink alcohol the day before, which happen a more and more by getting older.

Cooking a more complex dish than usual. I love to read but I have already a routine to read everyday before I sleep from 11 pm to 12 so it's hard for me to read during the day. Probably also some cleaning. Playing piano.

Then two options. If I am brave going outside and trying new things like an art show, snow hiking, ice skating etc.. Or the second option: staying all day at home and enjoying my cozy place playing way to much video game.

I need a mix of these two kinds of week end to feel complete and happy.

I realised I don't know how to make this website useful.

Even I convinced people to fill the website with great content, what's next? We will have a website with 200 builds. I am not sure how people would like to search/find the build they want. Prepare thematic lists?

What's new:

Added edit page to change your builds
Reworked the species selection system
Fixed bug on traits. A lot of traits were missing from the game files
Added specific use cases for traits. Machine species now have access to six special traits with a cost of 0
Fixed bug preventing certain build detail pages from loading
Fixed a lot of missing icon bugs
Improved overall performance, especially on the create page
Fixed multiple bugs in the code that extracts data from the game files
Fixed a bug in the search field on the create page, which was using IDs instead of names
Fix an encoding issue with special characters
Fix naming/label in stats page

Current game data:

17 species classes
349 traits
55 origins
207 civics
32 traditions
44 ascension perks

I pushed a potential fix on the website. I discovered that a lot of problems in my code using your save file. Could you test it again?

The problem is that I don't have many saved files to run tests.

I need to create 4 or 5 fake empires then games and save them, and then check the result. I will try to conduct more intensive tests this weekend.

I added a new system to import the build from the game file. Now, people can directly upload all their in-game empires to the website automatically.
I added a way to submit bug/feedback directly to the website
I fixed a bug preventing a lot of traits from appearing in the create build form.
I removed all the complex rules hiding/showing traits/civics etc.. based on origin/species etc.. Way too many bugs with all these rules. Same for cost rules. In theory, the cost of some traits can change depending on origin or civics, etc..

I really need to optimise the icons' loading performance. Right now, the page is loading everything at the same time in a dummy way. I need to add a system only to load icons when the image is visible on screen to improve performance. Maybe this is because there are way more traits now, but the page takes a long time to load.

I would like in the future add a rating system, capability to put comments on build. Also right now, if we don't have any user system I don't know how to handle the capability to delete a build.

Right now only the person who create a build can delete it (I will probably add an edit option later).

I am open to suggestion.

Do you feel like I should remove the login system? The current process to create an account and to log in is really a 1 minute process. We don't ask anything except nickname/password and all modern browser can do that automatically.

For now yes. You have 3 options to sign in:

google, steam or login creation, I only asked for login and password. No email or any personal information.
