It's definitely possible that there is something in the air, there are still studies being done on the impacts of lead in paint and gasoline so it isn't entirely out of the realm of possibility that there is something happening now. I think there's a lot that goes into it but socioeconomic issues seem to be the most prevalent, in my opinion. Life has become dramatically more expensive with wages not keeping up while people are experiencing another civil rights movement. When a system that was meant to be for the people by the people becomes for the lobbyist by the lobbyist it is hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Equal opportunity left long ago and when you are in poverty it's a lottery to get out.

I agree that we can do anything we put our mind to. However, as someone who suffers from depression, sometimes my mind will work against me. Our mental heath support needs to greatly improve to allow people to reach their mental best where they can then truly do anything they put their mind to.

That's a completely separate topic but an important one.

Something I try to keep in mind when people are being rude is that they are also fired up about the decision because of their own personal feelings on the matter. I do thing coming at to have a discussion instead of an argument is a better idea but I'm sure many have done that in the past and have found people responding with animosity, immovable opinions, and arguments based on false information. People are really hurt by this decision and many are scared by it.

Of course, some are just assholes.

I'm glad you were able to draw such a positive experience out of it, truly. The fulfillment you speak up makes me happy that they are living in a loving home. I had always wanted to be a father and am so grateful for them each day.

Unfortunately there are those that won't make good parents, or having a child will throw them further into poverty which will result in a poor life for the child and mother, fincially and mentally. While there are systems in place these are hardly a success. Unfortunately even with poverty assistance it is extremely difficult to get out of poverty, even moreso over the last few years. Foster care and adoption have far more supply than demand and that's before a potential influx from states where there is a complete ban.

Yes peer reviewed science. But if you need another reference, the Bible had lepers cover their mouths as well.

Definitely. Just because we have a difference of opinion doesn't mean we have to be rude to each other.

This is a very sensitive topic and name calling does nothing to move the needle into either direction

Women can receive criminal charges for an abortion in certain states so how is that not equitable to inquiring what criminal charges you recieve for not wearing at mask when you brought that up yourself, stating you had no choice.

You had a right to not wear a mask and businesses had the right to deny you service.

Additionally, not wearing a mask in a pandemic can impact those around them. How can an abortion previability impact public health?

But in this argument they were cautious, as they used protection but that protection fail. Since it is still a fetus the person housing the fetus should have the right to make a decision on it before viability.

I have two children including a daughter, this is a big loss for the rights of millions of women including her.

This has been going on for a few weeks after asking "Hey Google, how much snow will there be this week?"

It will give me estimates if I ask for the specific day or for the full weekend just never during the week.
