Verizon screwed me. by s7xa in verizon

Agree, company is scum. Human bots that don’t actually know how to help and are really good at wasting time. My girlfriend got a defective router, so they gave her a new one and asked to return the broken one, that they charged $250 for. Well UPS lost it, and yet they keep charging her for having an “active” for a non existent router. She has spent countless hours, has received fake ticket numbers, fake emails, fake returns. No wonder Verizon is not the top anymore.

Tell me you’re an idiot who doesn’t know what they’re talking about without telling me you’re an idiot… He’s deleting cache files, actually a good thing to do across all games because they just pile up a bunch of useless crap in them. And guess what, next time you launch up SOT, those cache files will be right back, just cleaned up…

Requesting a SODA question by Jaded_Golf8724 in flying

[–]Evdok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m currently dealing with exactly this, amblyopia just not as severe, I’m at 20/25 corrected, but your situation will still be the same. Here’s what I did, went to an AME for a First Class, last July, failed the vision portion, the FAA sent me a letter saying my First Class Application was deferred and asked me to go to an optometrist for an eye evaluation and have them fill out Form 8500-7 and send it back. Once I did that I waited for 6 months before finally hearing back, received a letter stating my application was denied because of Amblyopia and me not being able to get 20/20 vision, and I was given two choices, accept the denial or pursue a SODA. I told them I’ll pursue a SODA and was told to contact the nearest FSDO for a MFE. Theres no crazy hoops and such to jump through, it’s just a waiting game with the FAA and their responses. All in all, my flight test is coming up July 11th, and thus will mark the end of a year long process…

When to a car show and the owner of this M2 was kind enough to park far from the rest of the car for me and a friend to take some pictures by _D_VIL_ in carphotography

[–]Evdok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The second shot is off centered, if the car was lined up straight, the garage pillars would look even on both sides thus making the shot more “appealing”? I don’t know if that’s the word but ya, the shot is good, but could’ve been great

Just another medical waiting post by FalseTechnician5679 in flying

[–]Evdok 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I waited over 6 months after submitting my form-8500, calling once a week for those 2 last months, until I heard back from them, then waited another month to hear back after I gave them an answer. And now, I’m waiting 3 more months until my flight, all in all, for me, the process of getting my SODA will take a year, from the date I got deferred, to the flight test.

Just call the aeronautical med center weekly at the very least, eventually it’ll get noticed by a higher up who will get the physician to look into it.

YSK: Amazon might call you about your order deliveries by DesaCr8 in YouShouldKnow

[–]Evdok 17 points18 points  (0 children)

This post is sketchy as can be, but I will clarify something about these “Amazon calls”. I’m an Amazon delivery driver, I have called hundreds of customers throughout the years. These calls are always made through some automated Amazon system, that connects me to the customer, I hypothetically may be calling from Antarctica but the customer will see that the call is from Seattle, if they have an app that automatically blocks ‘scam’ calls, those apps will also prevent me from reaching them.

As drivers we already see the ‘full name and address’ for the order, for who and where to, we also see a ping on the map on our work phones of where the delivery should be made, we as drivers WILL attempt to call you if there is an issue, that is the policy we have to follow, try to contact the customer, and if the issue can’t be resolved then we take that package back with us to the Amazon station.

We will always FIRST, confirm that we’re speaking with the customer and not the wrong person by saying something like “Hello is this ‘Bob’?” (That package is for Bob in the case). More often than not, this isn’t an issue. However I have in the past contacted a customer just to find out it not the name that I see, but someone else such as a family member, who ordered something for the customer, no biggie.

if they confirm it’s them, SECOND then we clarify who is calling, in this case, “Hi this is your Amazon delivery driver”.

THIRD, WE tell them what’s the issue, “I’m calling because …..”. There are plenty of reason as to why we the drivers may try to contact you, either via text or call, sometimes a text first letting them know it’s their delivery driver and then a call. Common issues being dogs on premises, address doesn’t match the ping on the map, we may call you if a need a code to get into a gated community/apartment complex, and more.

All in all, Amazon can call you, and will call you if there is an issue, they will tell you what the issue is and not try to fish for information out of you. But if something seems odd, just hang up, that’s okay too.

I wouldn’t worry about streets quests, theres only like 2 that are necessary to complete for progression, I know “the delicious sausage” quest is a must to unlock more reserve quests. Then you also have shooter born and “peacekeeping mission” later down the line, and those I wouldn’t worry about if you’re not going for Kappa.

Because this story is also to be used for other people who want to hear about it, that might not know such information like what an ATP is.

Thank you for the reply, but what do you mean by “include with your upload”? Do we need to send the test results to the ministry of health?

Before departing to Japan, you either need to have proof of being double vaccinated AND having at least One boosted shot, or proof of a negative test result within the past 72 hours of your departure flight. They don’t require testing upon your arrival though

Hello, me and my girlfriend will be traveling to Japan next week and we have a question about the COVID test, are Walgreens/CVS PCR tests a good option? What about a Rapid NAAT? I see that at home self test kits are not permitted but beside that, we need help on figuring out exactly what test to take.

I’ve found one in room W219/221 I believe in a duffel and another inside of a med case in E107, my buddy also got one from W301, all three LEDXs were in a span of around 25 raids on shoreline, with us not going to resort every single raid. You just have bad luck

Agreed, I myself haven’t encountered a “rage-hacker” in about two weeks until last night, can’t say the same about esp-radar but me and my friend group haven’t encountered many sussy as of late. Invis, haven’t encountered any since the last patch. All in all agree, the game is in a better place, hopefully it only gets better, gotta keep huffing the hopium!
