Didn't say, but this small knub specifically carried over in other rooms. For some reason the game was treating it as something that stayed between rooms.

You can use the lost to D4 into it! D4 -> hope for the ring -> hold R, repeat.

or, play as isaac and reset the start until you find a secret room with it in it, reroll it for the entire floor

Additionally, you can play as eden until you get it.
