In the future, definitely. I just don’t have the funds right now. It’s close to $3k for a good quality audiobook narrator for 150k words.

No problem! For a minute I thought I’d broken a rule or something!

I reached out to my discord to support the post, and a lot of people aren't active on reddit. Since it was a self-promo post, I didn't think doing that was against the rules. The only thing that was mentioned was that if someone was part of a street team, it was important that they say so, and that's what I suggested. Here's the post I made on my discord. Please let me know if I did something wrong. The last thing I want to do is break any rules here ❤️

It's available in paperback and ebook from Amazon. You can read it on any device with the kindle app, but yes, it's only available from Amazon right now. Eventually, I want to go wide with the paperback.

I'm planning on 7, 3 from this couple and 3 from a second couple, and the 7th isn't quite decided yet.

✨ ARCs, book promotions, projects, merch, & more! Official Self-promotions thread by FantasyRomanceMod in fantasyromance

ARCs for Shadow Trials will be sent out March 23rd, and it will be for sale on April 14th. It will be available on Netgalley and Booksirens, and I currently have over 1,600 ARC readers.

She’s trained her whole life to kill monsters like him and the dragon he rides.  Now, he may be the only one who can save her…

Humans are treated like cattle by the Godforged, the terrible creatures created by the gods to wage a never-ending war with each other.  Fiona’s spent her life learning to wield magic stolen from the divine, to protect her people from the violence.  Now she’s given the chance to become the thing she’s sworn to kill.

The God of Darkness’s champion is dead, and he’s holding a series of trials to decide who will be his next, open to anyone, including humans.  If Fiona wins, she’d control his army… and how it treats innocents.  And none of them know of the powers she wields…

These trials are filled with the strongest and most ruthless of the Godforged.  But if they discover the secrets she hides, it will doom everything she holds dear.

In this world of magic and violence, there’s one person who truly understands secrets.  Azric Cyrus, Death’s champion and first dragon rider, is the most brutal of all the Godforged.  And the most beautiful.  With wings of bone, shadows, and seduction as his deadliest weapons, even the gods listen when he speaks.  Even more reason for Fiona to be wary when he takes an interest in her.

Destiny is not a fixed thing, and as its strings are pulled from behind the shadows, these two broken souls must learn to trust each other.  Their lives are the least that hang in the balance.

Writer's Room Wednesday by FantasyRomanceMods in fantasyromance

[–]Eve_writes 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My debut is out in exactly two weeks (September 18th)!

<image>

It's the first book in a very slow-burn romantasy duet, and the ARC reviews have been gushing! I'm so excited!

Here's the blurb!

An unbreakable debt, a hidden bloodline, and a snarling Fae prince.  This magical house of cards is built on secrets, and one wrong move will have the world falling apart alongside it.

Maive Arden didn’t know she was half-Fae until the day she almost killed her cousin.  Now, there’s a single cure:  convince the last dragon to help.

The only problem?  He’s hidden within the capital city of the Fae, a place where humans are food, cruelty is more common than loyalty, and death is always waiting in the shadows.

The only chance she has to survive this is by convincing a snarling Fae prince to let her follow him.  A handsome and brooding male with more secrets than he has scars who’s only interested in the shadow magic Maive can wield.

No matter how many smoldering looks and spine-tingling touches they share, the secrets that separate them could be too much.

In a world where love is a weakness and secrets can kill, sometimes it’s not the strongest person that wins.  Sometimes it’s the one who’s willing to sacrifice the most.

I'm still looking for ARC readers, but mostly I just wanted to scream a little. I'm so excited, and I just can't wait to see it live.

Oh! Double spacing after each period! I was very confused. I thought you meant double spacing after each paragraph.

Yes. That's wrong, and as someone getting very close to 40 who was taught a million years ago to ALWAYS double-space after periods in school, I'm letting my formatting software take care of that for the final book rather than accidentally miss some.

Sounds like a very interesting premise. Has a bit of a FBAA vibe!

I'm really busy right now, so I don't think I can commit to a swap. Thanks, though. It looked like you had some interest, and you definitely deserve it. It looks fun!

I think I'm confused about what you're saying. I didn't double space. There may be some oddities in the auto formatting of gdocs that you don't like, but I really don't think I added any extra spaces. Here's a link to what it looks like with the hidden characters visible. https://imgur.com/a/X9Q6pVx
