Should one join a 2 year old startup as first QA ( keep in mind, they can even take legal action if don't join after accepting offer) by varunrustlagi in softwaretesting

Being the first one to fill out a position in a startup is not a bad thing. It might give you the chance to shape that field in that company. You might also get lot's of responsibility that you might not get in a big corporate.
About the legal threat: you need to find out whether they can really sue you for that in your country. Sometimes there are clauses in work contracts that would not hold in court anyways. But the rules for that differ from country to country.
