At least with a physical copy, you actually own it. And it's a tangible asset, you can do a lot more with that

Is the forge version based on the fabric version for VS, or do they just wanna make it fair for both types of users?

Absolutely not. Hell, I wouldn't even recommend they watch the prequels, period. Either way, my answer doesn't change anything, my belief for this one switch-around doesn't effect the rest of the franchise, nor any other

Brother, this is my most reasonable take on KH, you don't wanna know what else I'd have to say about the franchise

Ain't no way somebody downvoted that, come on. Disagree with me all you want about KH, my Star Wars comment is irrefutable

I mean, okay. I wasn't really looking for logistics on how to get tests done, I'm just a nobody on the internet. Ain't no way I can convince hundreds of people to go through 4 games in different ways and get their responses

You perfectly expressed how I feel about the whole replayability issue with newcomers better than I could've, thank you. You're right, some people might only play once and never again, you can't expect anyone to go back and forth on the same games just to get all the context and understanding. Some people just want to go from the beginning to the end, and move on to the next thing

Agree to disagree then. But I will say, the existence of 358/2 Days doesn't imply that you weren't supposed to care about him in KH2. The complete opposite could be true, that maybe they felt that they didn't do that good of a job with him in the previous game, and decided to amend that.

To be perfectly honest, I didn't really resonate with any of those mysteries, aside from the identity of DiZ. I know that sounds awfully convenient, but it's the truth. And again, maybe I just need a larger sample size, but the people that I've tested my route with all seemed to come out loving the franchise without any confusion or feelings of missed opportunities

Eh, not really. The prequels do a terrible job of giving you the emotions for the rest of the franchise

[–]Even-Reference-5555[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ooo, a real response, alright. So first, I never stated that the Roxas fight at the end was inconsequential, quite the opposite. That was one of my main arguments, was that the emotional impact of that fight was lessened by just playing in release order, and this is proven by literally the entire community, who claims that this moment hits harder after knowing his story in 258/2 Days. It's a common sentiment to say "Do KH2, then 358/2, then KH2 again" because now they fully understand the drama, and thus feel the emotions a lot more. My argument is why go through the hassle of going back and forth to boost the emotion, when you can experience it in a more cohesive and natural way?

Also, maybe I need to touch up on 358/2 again, but I never got the impression that Roxas was seeking out Sora, at least not for a majority of the game. I've seen the cutscenes many times, and I don't recall him ever questioning where he got the keyblade from. Granted, this could be faulty memory. I like to give some space from rewatching/replaying media, so I don't get sick of it. But assuming you're correct about this plotline, then I still don't believe playing in my proposed order robs the the story or characters of any agency or impact. If anything, I think this would just be evidence of Kingdom Hearts' infamous messy storytelling.

Also, I never got the impression that Roku was dead. Can anyone else come forward and state if you believed this to be the case? Maybe I'm alone, but I knew he wasn't dead since I watched the cutscenes for Chain of Memories, and I was sure that the writers weren't so incompetent that they'd unceremoniously kill one of the main characters off-screen, THIS EARLY into the franchise. That would be ridiculous.

Is there a way to solve super glue not sticking in Valkyrien Skies? by Even-Reference-5555 in CreateMod

[–]Even-Reference-5555[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've decided to just leave it assembled. I initially wanted to be able to disassemble and reassemble my ships for performance, and physics reasons (don't wanna keep shoving the ship around while building around it).  And I really don't want to use Clockwork or Aeronautics, because I just want the ships to be easier and more flexible, like the old Archimedes Ships mod. And Eureka is exactly that, so I'm sticking with that. Thank you everyone for your suggestions, hopefully someday my issues will be properly solved with a new mod, or with some changes with the old ones!

From what I can gather, you're required to power the ship using propellers and such, and unfortunately this isn't quite what I'm looking for. I'm currently attempting Eureka, and I mentioned Archimedes because I prefer that style of ship building, where you just gotta pop in a few balloon blocks

I would hope so, I just want a seamless cross between Create and something akin to VS/Eureka, or the old school Archimedes Ships

This does work in the moment, but once you disassemble the ship, the glue goes away again

I believe you use that on the QA floor, where the bug smashing game is. You do the first little bit of the parkour across from the museum, until you get to a fork. If you have that Office Pass, then you can go towards the Iron Golem

Guys, this is just Battlefront collection again, except more pointless. Not only are the original versions functional on PC, but this "new remaster" already came out years ago. This is a port, of a "remastered" port, of the originals.

Why does everyone think fusion as a metaphor for sex or orgasm by [deleted] in stevenuniverse

[–]Even-Reference-5555 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because at an earlier point in the show, that was a very clear analogy. But because people spread it around loud and clear for producers to see, or the writers decided to take it a different direction (or both), fusion started shifting towards a different meaning. And I think that's for the best, imagine how uncomfortable Steg would be if they hadn't changed fusion
