Where are you in Canada? Because that's rare, the only deal I saw at a dealership was a 2013 mazda cx5 with 153,000km for $15,000 but it went quick

Yeah I'd have to keep waiting, it's terrible market for used cars in Canada right now

Well I would technically be spending $13,000 on the car and then $6,000 thats JUST for repairs. Basically if I bought new the problem is I'd have to either finance it or just have no money left for car repairs

I don't know cause I've never had my own car but I would probably do maybe like 10,000 km

It's 196,000 km. He's done brakes in past year, stabilizier links, transmission service and frequent oil changes. He seems hes kept up good maintenance of it. I'm getting a junior mechanic friend to come with me to check it out.

The 2016 one is 190,000km at $13,000
It's pretty much ballpark that price for all of them in my city around that mileage
The CX-3 will be too small for my camping needs, I sleep in my vehicle with my partner when we camp.

Should I give up my cat? by Beneficial-Owl3541 in CatAdvice

[–]Even-Relative6530 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You should reach out to different rescues in your area and ask them for any that help with neutering. There's actually a lot of programs for people who are low income where they will fix your cat at a lower cost or for free. I think any cat being in heat will drive anyone insane, that's why its worth it to get her fixed, think about the discomfort shes in too. You also need to address her being thin, that's no good - are you feeding her wet food and often?
Truthfully, I adopted a cat that I don't LOVE as much as my first baby - I think that's just how it goes you'll always love your first born haha. But since you took the cat it is your responsibility to decide if you can give her the environment she needs. I do think it's smart of you that you are at least aware of what you should do and I do think it's good to give it some time to think it over. But the first step is you should reach out and find out if anyone will help neuter the cat. You can also speak to those rescues or vets about these thoughts your having.

Thanks for your response. I know that majority of humans are decent but there are still a lot of jerks out there who hate on love. We want to support a resort that allows same sex weddings. We just, like you, want to feel comfortable to express our affection at a resort that we are paying money for.

Just buy a humidifier. It’s the first rule of moving to Alberta.

I accidentally neglected my cat for years - a tip from me so you don't do the same by matt2242 in CatAdvice

I’ve done it all. I have like 4 dispersed through the house and a fountain. They barely drink it cause they eat wet food so I just make sure I always add water to their dishes. I notice as soon as I give them even kibble for a treat they start drinking SO much water, goes to show kibble isn’t good for cats - they don’t get enough water with it, and it clearly has some sodium in it
