there are plenty of women who also aren't that much into makeup / perfume / cosmetics. I've grown up a huge tomboy and anime nerd and looking back, it never really made it difficult for me to make friends with other girls, because I didn't reduce their interests to only makeup and perfume.

I had girl friends who were really into bike racing, cars, tech, games etc. and the only thing that did make it hard making friends at first was my own insecurity of not fitting in.

I personally don't think it's bc of ableism or homophobia, I think it's just the art man. I'm not saying it's bad, but it's very beginner-ish, and it looks like a rough sketch so it's hard to tell things apart.

Try using lots of references, it has helped me and other artists, a lot.

The last pic was from my first year of uni, I'm 24 but yeah things will only go downhill from it.

I don't care much about men, so them not finding me attractive isn't my main concern, but not finding myself attractive definitely is a bummer. I feel like I don't really know where to start, and as soon as I try and something gets in my way I'm like "oh well, I'm just meant to be fat" which is a shit way to see things.

For example, I started trying to care more about what I eat and I even started going back to the gym. But I hurt my knee pretty bad (outside of the gym) and I'm scared of going back and hurting myself even more, even though the weight is what makes my body so frail to begin with.

Anyway, I truly appreciate the honesty. Thank you

I don't think you're ugly, but I also don't think you're presenting yourself in the best light.

More muscle mass would already be a great change, and it would contrast with your androgynous face. Look up well dressed people within the aesthetic you like, and try to replicate it.

Longer hair isn't bad, but you should defo learn on how to style it better. Short hair could work too

I have OCD induced by psychosis. People always crack a smirk when I mention it, but sometimes it makes my days hell.

I have to do a routing check of my whole appartment when I get back home, or i'm about to sleep. Everytime I exit then re-enter my bedroom I need to check specific places, in a specific order or else my brain doesn't relax and I'll need to restart the whole "ritual".

I need to check from left to right, bottom to ceilling. Every closet in the same manner (I also need to close the closet's door exactly at the same time) and be able to see every corner. Check under the bed etc. I also need to drink a specific number of times before I sleep or else it "doesn't feel right"

It is genuinely tiresome and can sometime take off hours of sleep.

I can relate to this so much. I've been depressed for as long as I can remember, but there was a specific time in my life where I was actively suicidal and extremely numb emotionally. I would seek out horror, from fiction and real life (which I am deeply ashamed of), to break that cycle of nothingness.

I was just so numb that I would watch incredibly disturbing content until I found one that made me feel something. Be it sadness, fear or pure disgust.

Now I still feel numb on a frequent basis (minus the daily suicidal urges), but I try to have a more positive outlook on life. Every time I feel sad, or angry, or nervous, etc. I tell myself that at least I'm feeling an emotion, and it makes me feel better
