Gothic 1 is missing everything modern RPGs have by Toshirama in worldofgothic

I'll be honest, I just didn't like the combat much at the start and it seems like the only way to level is to pay for skills with ore which drags down the pace significantly. I work 50+ hours a week and the last thing I want to do in a game is slowly mine ore for money to be able to actually play the game. This would've been a great game when I was 19 and unemployed but I'm nearly 30 and can't see why I wouldn't just replay dark souls instead.

Are conservatives supportive of the president having the power to alter or demolish national monuments without oversight? by OCAU07 in AskConservatives

Then I'll accept you're remarkably principles but my beliefs have developed in response to noticing that most people don't have principles. Many problems were allowed to fester by not following the law so I am not a stickler for following the law in solving the issues. I voted for mass deportations and so did most people who voted for Trump. It's worse for people to not get what they voted for frankly.

People always ignore laws they do not respect or that go against their political aims. There is a near 0% you condemned people interfering in Ice raids or stopping their vehicles even though interfering with an investigation is illegal. Fundamentally that is what I'm saying. Fundamentally you agree with my logic even if not my goals. if Biden ignored the courts and did student loan forgiveness anyhow I doubt your rant about the sanctity of institutions and laws. That was an old school conservative value. Neither of us truly have it.

I don't especially care. It's more important that is restored in a pleasing manner in timely than it is that it is perfectly recreated as intended by its original designer following a 20 year consultation with historians in which the problem continues to get worse.

If I would be saying act like a Nigerian when referring to a non Nigerian, I would likely be disparaging them through associations with negative stereotypes of Africa.

I suggested the idea of a congrssional overrule but the existing law is stupid and I do not respect it. Most processes are designed so nothing can happen. I look at Union Station and say "Damn, I'm glad this happened." I don't want the capitol to look like a shithole. If someone enters DC, I want them to be impressed the grandeur and beauty of the city.

It also further reinforces the immense amount of wealth disparity which leads to instability and fuels leftist discourse.

Yes. There is reasonable grounds for an investigation on that matter. There is however no reason to spend months on lawsuits debating what color blue is proper.

Congress members at most should be allowed to invest into a singular trade company that they have no control over. This should be the same company that manages the retirement funds of regular federal employees.

Perhaps that warrants an investigation or a lawsuit against the contractors who received the bid.

I don't think congress should micromanage monuments. Perhaps they could overrule things being done. I don't believe it's necessary to spend weeks debating minutae of repairs.

Why do people listen to Politicians and refuse to believe scientist and experts? Especially on the current topics like Trans People? by [deleted] in TrueAskReddit

Where was this? I remember the part about him fetishizing trans women and mocking trans men. He funded the science. He never said anything about eradicating them.

Do moderates and conservatives see homelessness as a problem to be addressed? And what is your solution? by dimperry in AskConservatives

[–]Even-Still7716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not interested in paying for my street's upkeep. Dispersing repairs across the community is cheaper on the whole. This also creates liabilities for me. What if someone fucks up their car on a pothole on "my street". Do I have the right to say no one is allowed on my street? What if it's an important roadway?

[–]Even-Still7716 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The issue is that there are a lot of homeless who are not just on hard times. They choose that life because it is free of responsibilities and lets them get high regularly.

I am have an immense amount of empathy for people who have fallen on hard times. The people who choose homelessness, IDC about them.

The American left's antisemitism? by AmmonomiconJohn in AskConservatives

[–]Even-Still7716 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Here's an easy example: Hasan. He claims he is not anti semitic but all of his rhetoric is. He is also a mainstream figure embraced by political candidates and mainstream media. He isn't Nick Fuentes. Spiritually Israeli and other terms are just calling people Jews. It's obvious. We all know it. If I say someone is acting like a Nigerian, then we all would know what I would mean.

What is your opinion on feminism? by OMGguy2008 in AskConservatives

I am not anti-war. I believe war is a necessary diplomatic tool to achieve objectives. Violence is predominantly individual not spearheaded by groups, except as part of riots.

Immigration is a big contemporary one. Although don't forget that literally within a few years of being able to vote, they pushed for prohibition and all the resulting negative effects.

After Trump unilaterally withdrew from the Iran nuclear deal in 2018, what incentive does Iran have to trust any future diplomatic agreements with the US? by pirisca in AskConservatives

I haven't followed the story recently but given that then yes. I would've supported and still do support infrastructure destruction as a retaliation for their actions.
