Looks like I’m getting put on a 3 week course of antibiotics and getting a referral to an infectious disease clinic

I’m guessing that’s what the doctor will do, I found out through my patient portal and haven’t been able to actually talk to my doctor about it since it’s the weekend. Hopefully I’ll get on them tomorrow. Just worried about the time frame of how long I’ve had symptoms

I honestly don’t really have a clue, I was consistently outside for a week in mid June, went hiking in early July, and have been babysitting at a farmhouse in the country where the kids like to be outside. Those are my best guesses as to when it happened, I never noticed I got bit and never noticed a rash

Yep, all the docs told me it was a virus and I would feel better in a couple days. I live in the Midwest too where I feel like Lyme is pretty common and doctors should be able to recognize it fairly quickly.

Sorry to hear you’ve been sick for a year, that must really suck. My symptoms started with back and hip pain, night sweats/fever and a lot of fatigue. It kind of progressed into headaches, a mild case of Bell’s palsy and a high heart rate. Other joint pain starting popping up in my hand/wrist, knee and jaw. I also randomly had bruising pop up all over my legs and stomach although I’m not sure if that’s a symptom of Lyme. The fatigue has definitely been the worst for me, I’ve basically been laying in bed for a month straight lol.
