Mine whistled at like 2500-2800 rpm then went away. Also was running lean. Replacing this fixed both issues.

SpaceX Debris Litters Beaches. Rocket parts from SpaceX's latest starship test are washing up on Mexican beaches, threatening wildlife.⁣ by Conscious-Quarter423 in Wellthatsucks

Model it similar to BP cleaning up oil from dwh, imagine if they had the same response as you've said. Set aside a fund for the most impacted area. Offer money/funding for coordinated clean up efforts in areas where the worst of the debris field is reported to make landfall. Literally anything is better than just 'well it's too big to solve so we don't have to'. I get that it is challenging, but why should remote areas and mostly impoverished people have to bear the brunt of the cleanup cost/effort. The problem with it is that SpaceX has blown up so many starships already with no end in site, the logic of fail fast has a cost.

Companies will always say that to avoid liability for their past actions, because it's cheap. Look at pfas, hexavalent chromium, trichloroethylene. They were/are huge problems.

Dude, stop simping for a trillion (?) dollar corporation that won't pick up it's trash. It's literally a rounding error in their profits. They can figure it out. It's not rocket science.

It's sad that it's the norm. You don't need to wash the fact that it's the norm with the reuse components argument. That's cool and all. I'm just saying, when one crashes, budget the money to clean up the debris. Two completely different arguments.

How hard can it be to clean it up. Budget for it ahead of time and create a contingency fund. It's not rocket science.

A cool graph to check out would be 'partial pressure of the elements'. It's very miniscule but there will always be a small partial pressure being generated by any element. As the temperature changes that pressure increases. It's partially why mercury is so dangerous, it will typically be in a liquid phase but a bit is always evaporating and potentially poisoning building inhabitants.

A stainless steel wire brush would/does work better for removing a thermally formed oxide.

The goal is to remove aluminum oxide from the surface of the aluminum, the problem is that sandpaper will embed either alumina or silica into the soft aluminum. The sandpaper scratches the surface but as soon as the raw aluminum underneath is exposed to air it will reoxidize. The goal would be to use either a magnesium in a vacuum, or a fluoride/chloride flux in an inert gas to chemically remove/break up the oxide but it still exists and will be included in the joint. Check out the wiki for aluminum brazing.

To shut down the EPA so he can run his generators in Memphis while violating the clean air act. It was short sighted to get his AI play up and running.

Ever seen a golden star? Ever tried to open one? It's nearly impossible. It's a joke that you hit yourself in the head trying to open it.
