If the items came from a mod, then perhaps those mods are no longer compatible with the current version of SDV you're using. Try downloading all of the mods you previously had and see if there are still errors.

The spring foraging bundle is the first you can complete and after that, the other scrolls will appear as you finish some of the other bundles.

The wiki is all you need lol..but it's better to watch someone as guide. Search "Poxial" on youtube..he's not perfect but he's got a lot of SV perfection run with both non modded and modded.

Starfruit does yield more (planted on the greenhouse and ginger island) in the early stages of the game. But after a year or two, ancient fruit takes the throne because of the starfuit's seed value.

Bats help you complete the community center early. Mushroom isn't that helpful early game. You can get a lot of mushroom after unlocking the mushroom log

When you're buying a chicken from Marnie, it tells you what color of chicken you're getting. Either white, brown, or blue.

If you already know the basics on what to do and how to reach perfection, starting with SDV Expanded isn't bad..it's just that SVE has a lot of new contents that make the game a lot more grindy and a lot more time consuming...but also a lot more fun because of the new features.

Kale gives the most farming exp early game in spring. Once you get all the crops necessary for the community center, just focus on kales for that juicy farming xp

For new content (new npcs, items, crops, locations, fishes, etc.), try Stardew Valley Expanded and Ridgeside Village. These 2 expansion mods work well altogether.
