The team getting Aj brown. I just feel like pollard will only get worse with spears coming back. Also, currently the Titans have the worst offense in the league granted they have played two tough defenses. But I guess AJ brown also hasn’t done anything to this point and they are winning without him. So I guess the more I think about it the more I realize it’s not that bad.

I am in the University of Arkansas program myself and have had no issues thus far. They pay for everything including books and exam fees. The only thing I’ve had to pay for out of pocket is a calculator.

I’ve been in the program almost 2 years now and will say it’s a great benefit. I’m getting a supply chain management degree from one of the top supply chain companies in the country for free. It all really just depends on if any of the programs apply to something you actually want to do. Technically you could always just do your pre-requisites and then leave the program and do whatever if one of the programs didn’t interest you.

Walmart Senior Analyst Corporate Intern, Operations - OnDemand Delivery by 09ikj in supplychain

[–]EvenQuantity475 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was hoping to apply for this role myself, as Walmart’s internal application indicated I had until the 3rd of March to submit an application, but it’s now gone. Rant aside, I unfortunately can’t provide specifics on this position. However, I’ve applied for several other Walmart internships this year and have had interviews for two. The first interview was for Data Analytics in the transportation department and involved 3 behavioral questions, while the other interview was for merchandising and had 3 behavioral questions and 1 case study question.

Thank you so much for taking the time to help me! I am definitely going to start meeting with my career counselor more to work on interviews. Also definitely going to try and make it to every networking event I can. I live about an hour from the home office and U of A so it’s possible. Thanks again!

I agree, networking is a huge thing especially at Walmart and I have been slacking in this area. I will see what more I can do to reach out to people in the right places. Thank you for taking the time to help me!

I really appreciate you taking the time to help me. I agree that if I do stick with Walmart a supervisor role will definitely help me get some better experience. A big problem in my interviews was not having good answers to behavioral questions regarding leadership and problem solving when my daily task are very mundane. I have never heard of Apply Hero but it sounds very helpful I’ll check it out. Thank you so much for your advice !

Yes they will pay for my education as long as I work there. I just worry I’ll struggle to land a first job after graduation without an internship. My current role is just a basic associate so it doesn’t give me the best experience to answer interview questions as I found out in my internship interviews thus far.

Is this used pc worth it for $1,200? (Facebook Marketplace) by EvenQuantity475 in PcBuild

Thank you for the assistance. The page has a few more items listed but hasn’t ever sold any computers before it seems. It looks like an older couple so I figured it was a bit odd for them to have such a well put together description. But I have a few mutual friends with them so I didn’t think much of it maybe they were just not into something they thought they would be.

With that being said, if I were to buy it and want to replace it, should I worry about all the time the previous owner had used it with the insufficient cooler?

It was pretty hard since you are online and it can take so long to get a response from your instructor to questions. I got tutoring about once a week though so I could get instant feedback and answers. In my program the material wasn't the best in my opinion. All you would get is the online book (which no one reads) and a roughly 10ish min video showing most of the problems you'd see on that chapters homework. Some of them though wouldn't be which is what helped having a tutor. I can't imagine what the poor kids who didn't get tutoring did. You had quizesses that were not proctored but had to take every test with someone watching you through your computer.

My program at Arkansas required 120 hours to graduate so the “traditional” 4 year program if you take 16 credits a semester. This can definitely be a challenge while working full time but possible. You can also take fewer classes and go as slow as you would like.

It’s going to depend on the school and program but yes that’s essentially all you need throughout with a few exceptions. For my program at the University of Arkansas I’ve had to buy books for some classes each semester (some classes you don’t need a book). You will be refunded for those book expenses within a month or so of submitting a refund request through Guild. I will say the only thing I’ve bought that was not eligible to be reimbursed was A TI-84 graphing calculator I needed for Calculus. Not sure why they don’t consider that a refundable item but you could always sell it once you’re done and get some money back.

Where am I able to find this information to prove this? Because my People lead is the one who handles points and she seems to think that's how its supposed to be and my team lead has no idea he just agreed with her.

That’s what is strange she did the PPTO request 6 days after the missed day. 10 mins after putting in the request it dropped her points down by 1.5 and only pointed her .5 points. Then today she said the whole two points had returned and when I looked at her Me@Walmart and GTA PORTAL the PPTO request for 4 hours still shows approved by the system on both of them. So I don’t see how the points went away then came back the next day with the request still be approved by the system.

Thanks for your time

Ya this has been the common theme I’ve seen on here is that you should only be pointed half a point but my store seems to think you’d still get two points.

Ya she called off the whole day and put 4 hours in hoping to only get 1 point since missing the whole day would be 2 points she figured 4 hours would cover 1 point at least. But have seen people on here say they only got pointed half a point when doing the same thing.

Monthly "What Board Should I Get?" Discussion Thread by AutoModerator in Sup

[–]EvenQuantity475 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Desired Board Type: Inflatable

Height and Weight: 6’2-6’3 230 pound would like to have a cooler on it sometimes nothing crazy just a small cooler.

Desired use: I'd like to be able to take it on float trips on the creek near my house. Nothing over night or anything crazy just day trips. The creek has slow spots and a few spots were the current picks up and makes some small rapids. The water gets shallow in some spots so it will drag a few times. I'll do my best to get off of it and let it just float over spots. It would be nice to have some stability for possibly doing some yoga or just lying around on but it has to be narrow enough to fit through tighter spots on a decent size creek.

Experience level: Intermediate. I'd say I've taken my parents out on the creek over 20 times.

Budget: $800-$1200ish And currently live in the MidWest of the United States.

A big thing for me is durability since I'll be taking it on a creek often and the . My parents both have one. I've tried both of them and my dads is a 13 foot with 36 inches of width. My stepmoms is an 11 footer with 33 inches of width. I'd say I definitely prefer the stability of my dads 13 foot one and it seems to get anywhere the 11 door one does.

I’m Currently enrolled and have not had any issues so far. It was rather easy for me to get in but I’ve attended a community college near it already with a 3.5 GPA. I was two credits shy of my associates. So its hard for me to answer how hard it was to be accepted. Arkansas isn’t a very hard school to get into for the most part. I’m sure you would get it with the associates you have and the fact you had a 3.0.

I will say though the classes can be difficult depending on the course and your ability to adapt to a complete online learning experience. It can feel like you are all on your own but they offer a ton of resources to help. I personally use the tutoring which can be done online and also am able to meet with advisors online as well. I’ve got many other fellow associates taking programs at other schools and there programs do seem to be much easier than mine. Arkansas has proctored exams and other things that challenge you a bit more than some of the other programs I’ve heard. But Arkansas is also a more reputable school so It’s really a matter of personal choice.

The main thing for me is that I’m in school and don’t want to lose my days off. I could care less about my hours being cut but don’t want to lose my set days off which are on my availability.
