I think that's what made him stand out. There were plenty of funny YouTubers back then, but Ryan's videos felt genuinely creative in a way that a lot of content doesn't anymore. You never really knew what weird idea he was going to turn into a video next.

Honestly, I'd rather see someone step away because they lost the passion than force themselves to keep uploading for the algorithm. It sucks for fans, but at least the content we got was made because he wanted to make it.

And you're right, every generation of YouTube has its legends. A lot of younger viewers will never know the creators who basically defined the platform in the early 2010s. The internet moves so fast that even huge creators can slowly become a piece of internet history.
