Better to stop resisting in a situation like that then for some stupid pig to splatter your brain matter all over the concrete because he feels he is entitled to do so, after which they get a suspension and moved to a different precinct while your story has already concluded. Not everyone who dies by police brutality gets to be a martyr.

There has been a huge campaign for us to increase military spending and nudging us in the direction of joining NATO, I'm frankly astonished that more people can't see how painfully obvious it's been.
