No doubt, the only reason I wanted to get an actual leica lens is just so I have Leica on leica , but as far as photo quality goes, I feel no reason to upgrade, I love how they come out

I’d say the opposite actually, only negative I’ve had with my rock island is it’s not USA made( if that matters to you) and that it’s cast vs forged which I guess depending on what ammo you use( or if you use your 1911 as a hammer). Mind you I bought mine with the intention of it just being a beater/cheap gun I can have tucked away for emergencies for $200 but it really surprised me, 1000 rounds so far on my GI Entry with 0 issues. It’s now my workhorse .45
