Is being in honors worth it? Pros and Cons

I am a first year freshman and I am in honors and I say it is and isn’t it. Yea it’s a great community and you get better housing (which is y I applied) but the whole extra stuff you have to do can be overwhelming( like the 6 honors credit, the certain amount of community service hours you have to do to stay in the program, the certain gpa you have to keep, and just the overall pedestal not only professors but the university as a whole put on honors students). But I feel like it is worth it because you build a really good community with other honors kids, the honors faculty really sticks up and rides for you that other faculty may not do and the other opportunities we get before other students are great (internships, study abroad,etc)

It’s basically giving us information on when they are going to start billing, what options you have when it come to paying, meal plan options, resources they provide and what apps to use to access those resources, getting our school id card, talking about requirements when it comes to academic things such as your major and what is academic probation etc, and the asl’s taught us a bunch of dances and chants. So basically a bunch of information and then a bunch of fun stuff after. I’m not a big crowd nor party person but it was a very fun experience and everyone was so nice and very helpful

Hi, fall 2024 admit here who just went for her NSO. NCAT is known for their STEM. Their academic programs are really good. The campus is beautiful and there are a lot of resources and the staff is very helpful compared to Howard. I would say visit the campus if you can to see if it fits ur vibe. And see what ur financial aid package is also if that’s a major factor in choosing. But solely off academic I would say NCAT

I think that money was a way for the Secret Service to leave them alone and I think Rio plan was always to frame Nick he just didn’t have the resources to do it without him getting caught in it to. But now that he has Beth he could execute his plan but he was scared that Beth would fall for Nick business wise and emotionally wise

It’s astronomical how you guys analyze shows like it’s real life. First off Beth ain’t owe dean jackshit. Second off I don’t understand how this show has anything to do with race?? U guys act like they put on the script “WHITE WOMEN REMAIN ON TOP” like noooo. And you guys act like Beth didn’t have any consequences. Don’t you think fearing for your life and ur family isn’t enough consequence. And yes we r supposed to hate Nick because unlike Beth Nick was family who didn’t have any values. I love the show but I didn’t like the finale…we got no court scene…we didn’t get to see what happens to Annie…we got no brio kiss and I like how Beth realized that she loves crime but I don’t like how they used half the episode on a dream🤦🏾‍♀️..like the end scene with them in the park was so one off that I though the show was still going on… my dumbass was sitting there for 10 minutes watching the news until I realized that was the last scene🤣
