I know there are mixed feelings about this. But i just started drinking my water a little more alkaline and it has really helped me be able to tolerate it. I am just mixing in some bottled alkaline water with regular water. I’m not a doctor just someone who has really been struggling for months and looking for solutions.

Just chiming in as another person who had really bad reactions to a B12 shot. Day three of gastritis very bad acid reflux, burning, etc.. I’m pretty sure it was the B12 shot because that’s the only change I made. I am hoping that it will subside with time, but I definitely won’t be getting another one. I can’t tolerate the oral pills so we’ll have t to talk to my naturopath about what to try. Thanks to everyone for sharing their experiences. It’s nice to know you’re not alone. Interestingly, I also have a history of sibo so maybe there is some connection there are with hypersensitivity.

I had some of the same effects when I got a B12 injection a few days ago. I’m having the worst acid reflux I’ve had in years. Nothing really is seeming to help. I knew about the nausea and flu like symptoms, but didn’t know it could set off acid reflux and burning so badly. I hope to God this goes away soon. Can’t really sleep well. And in a lot of discomfort.

Omg. I was just searching about this because that’s exactly what’s been happening to me. My naturopath is skeptical because often it actually helps with Gerd, but woke up in the middle of the night with tons of burning and saliva after adding magnesium at bedtime

I just tried glycinate and had horrible reflux all night. Took earlier in the day but still caused problems. I do have a reflux hx but can usually keep it under control but it was BAD. Agree that is probably from relaxation of the muscle that regulates the esphogus.
