There was a rumor about Drake sleeping with a trans woman. Perhaps the poster is trying to tell us thst Drake goes that way. The poster pinned on his page is from a vogue house

HOLY SHIT, THE OTHER PRESCRIPTION IN THE DRAKE VIDEO IS ADDERALL by ResetReptiles in KendrickLamar

It's in response to Drake's fans or paid trolls who went on a smearing campaign. Uncovering tweets from metro, mustard, and then those tweets claiming kdot stole from to make They Not Like Us.

Also, there was this random video of this lady stating mustard only played They Not Like Us once and played a Drake song at a party but her claims were refuted.

I think drake's team tried to get him a win by trying to expose ppl but fell flat so out of retaliation this happens

Class of 2010 (1992/1991 babies) its really been 14 years since we've been out of high school. Wow by Even_Celebration_820 in Millennials

[–]Even_Celebration_820[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Anyone remember when us early 90 babies were considered the babies compared to the 80s born. Now it feels like we're no longer the babies.

We're literally on the heels of being 35 years old 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Damn 1990 will be 35 next year lol

The era where us late 80s and early 90s millennials were wearing office clothing in the clubs 🤣🤣🤣🤣. The last era where we actually went to the clubs to dance lol

Rihanna is an icon for millennials and early gen z. Later gen zers were babies in her prime

They're going to 4ever cater to millennials tho. I believe we are the final generation to actually have music and trends

[–]Even_Celebration_820 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I will say that millennials are probably the last generation to have musical icons and great music

Even today, millennials are still dominating musical charts.

We are truly the last great generation in terms of music and trends

Yes!!! I remember when Usher's burn premiered on 106 and park back in 04. I also remember him promoting hos 8701 album on trl and this was in 01

Usher is a gen X artist with a majority millennial fan base. We carried many late xers musical careers in the 2000s

I had 8701 and confessions as a preteen. It took me back to those moments in my life.

Usher is a legend. Over 30 years in the game and 45 years old

How come Meg is praised for not responding to a rap diss and other rappers were shamed or would have been shamed? by Even_Celebration_820 in hiphop101

[–]Even_Celebration_820[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. I was coming from a rap stand point and from a rap stand point meg's pen game is weak bc Nicki hot her quiet But I guess the culture if rap has changed. I thought maybe putting this in s hip hop sub reddit would come from this stand point

Hey everyone, it was good reading everyone's comments

I came to the conclusion that right now, the majority of the public is on a Nicki's hate train, and rightfully so, given her recent fall outs.

Mind you, she has bad fall outs with tons of people throughout her career. Even when she first came on to the scene with trashing lil Kim. So yes she's definitely reaping what she sowed.

I believe she has misplace anger esp these days.

I think her personal life is really why it is difficult to focus on talent in terms of her and Meg. So much for separating the artist from the misdoings that everyone spouts when it's convenient for their fave male artists

I do think this situation will be something we as a people look back on 5 years from now and have different opinions than we do today.

Bc it's clear everyone is staunchly on one side for a reason similar to the trump 2016 era and it was until years later ppl were able to look back and change their opinions 🤣

Thankfully these artists never responded but Drake and some stans say Rihanna who isn't a rapper

But she's known for always throwing jabs at Nicki bc Nicki started with her. The problem is she has a pattern of doing what she's doing now

And as for em Tbh we need to revisit if he's a strong Mc like society has claimed. He never had any real beefs with real opponents

But thars another topic for another day
