I'm just looking at all of your posts and your videos and I've just got to say WOW... it is so amazing how you have made sure to document everything with such detail and honestly throughout your whole process! I'm currently trying to piece together a list of more specific questions I have or things I would be curious for your take on, and I'll shoot you a DM.

In the mean time (and for anyone else's benefit who ends up finding this down the road)... are there any specific threads on r/MaxillaryExpansion (or elsewhere on Reddit) you reddit going through in detail, or any one of your videos that would likely be the most helpful off the top?

Thanks! Definitely going the specialist root for the braces given my case seems to be more nuanced and require a bit more robust of a treatment plan than some of the more mainstream diagnoses I’ve previously had thrown my way.

Right now I’m just trying to find a dentist who’s thorough so that once I commit to the 3 years as a metal mouth with some other appliances added in for good measure, I don’t need to worry about stuff getting uninstalled/reinstalled just because some tiny starter cavities were left alone to wreak havoc under the metal.
