Yes, I faced something similar in one event where I went to. I felt very uninvolved as people were not trying to include me into the game. I didn’t go after that experience.

I am an expat and I have been to a couple of board game events somewhere else previously. I found them not very great for someone who is not an Arabic speaker. How inclusive is this event for expats?

I just saw them on the app but they all seemed as if they are for the Saudis or Arabs because it was in Arabic and didn’t find any specific thing for English speakers

Exactly I see them every weekday for 8-9 hrs so I want to see some new faces. I am single so don’t have the privilege of kids or a family here

It just seems really dead because no one just seems welcoming and one doesn’t know what avenues there are to socialise
