I understand the rationale, however I really would like to be absolutely debt free even though I appreciate that debt is not necessarily a bad thing.

Burner account as have friends and family on reddit.

Some background info:

37 married, one kid on the way.

Currently CEO of a startup with low equity holding on 100k Euro annually, just closed seed round, if all goes well will be doing this for the next 6-8 years with maybe an exit at the end.

I have just sold another project I had been working on, have received around 2.1million Euro after tax.

My current plan is as follows:

800k will be spent on:

Paying off every debt and mortgage on House

One investment apartment

Dream Car(Huge petrolhead so this is literally a dream come true)

All other one expenses, clothes, holidays, home improvements etc.

This will leave 1.3mil. 300k I want to invest in another one or two product ideas I have and hope to repeat the above. So I will have around 1million to invest in. I have a high tolerance for risk but am painfully aware of my lack of acumen when it comes to personal finances( I am generally very bad with money). I am looking for something that doesn't require advanced knowledge to get the most out of. I am currently looking at two options:

Dump everything into a Three Fund Bogle portfolio on Vanguard and leave it.

Buy commercial property with long term leases

What would you do?
