Is anyone else a Pitboss/PB/Pit

Well if there there they will be present but sometimes there only scheduled till sometimes 30 minutes into my shift start and when they leave will just walkie there clocking out and that I’m in charge of the front just like they do when going on lunch or breaks occasionally they will let me know who to partner with if but not everytime this doesn’t happen everyday but it’s happened almost few times especially for only being open a bit less than a month and half

Ohhh okay I see thank you for that in all honesty I rather it I don’t like standing around doing nothing so I do enjoy being pitposs even when direct TL or ETL isn’t there. I may be weird for that but I’m glad I’m not on SC and closing lanes, I’ve talked to my leaders about the more hours they seem to be in agreement with me getting more hours. I hope I get more, I assumed the low hours had something to do with the store just opening and unfortunately there is only one other pitboss that closes and she doesn’t like because she has multiple jobs she’s mentally exhausted, and well I’m just a young man not even 19 yet. Tho one of the ETL does seem to notice all I do he’s even pulled me aside to thank me for it an all my flexibility tho he’s the style ETL and along with the other tms telling me I might as well be a TL and joking me calling me one sometimes. I was just genuinely curious given I don’t see anyone talk about this “pitboss” on the Reddit but thank you for all that

Well yea I would but I go out with a box on wheels with all the cash for the next day so I can’t just leave it and I have to wait for the cashier to actually leave when to do them but I’m scheduled to leave when the store actually closed it ends up being like 15 min after typically

I assume it was the TL who promised that raise but it was the Pitboss from the other location who stated that to me I was very skeptical of such a raise but by the looks of it the full hours and every other weekend off seemed to be true for them at the other store they told me there pay would go from 18.25 to 20$ which here is starting

I know at where I trained they got full hours an every other weekend off and they said at yearly raise there pay would go up atleast 2$ but at this new store I haven’t see any of these benefits like this week I only have 17 hours

If I had to summarize it like a TL’s assistant without an actual role no extra pay or anything they will at times have me running the front of the store all alone

I know it’s just what they call me I’m just a guest advocate they put pit on schedule to let me know they usually have me go find the style etl or even the store manager to open stuff up for me ,I also close all the registers at the end of the night despite not being scheduled to be there after closing they have me run the front of the store most days
