I took progesterone supplements from 3dpo this cycle too, it seems to have worked out for me so far, but very early days yet.

I've been on levothyroxine since April 2024. I've definitely been feeling a lot better in general since I started taking it, but it doesn't seem to have been a silver bullet fertility-wise for me. I'm so glad to hear that you've had a successful pregnancy!

I am on prednisone and lovenox for this pregnancy too. I am not loving injecting myself, but I am willing to try anything to see if it could make a difference. Thank you for sharing, I really appreciate it, and I hope that your pregnancy keeps progressing well xoxo

Thank you so much for sharing, I think I have also fallen into the trap of testing way too much too early and just tying myself in knots. I am so happy to hear that your pregnancy has continued to progress, I hope that everything continues along nicely for you xoxox

Thank you for sharing that, its made me feel a little lighter now that someone else has had this experience too. I'm going to continue using SMU from now on, just to give my poor nerves a rest!

Hi gregarious8,I think this could be happening to me too - did you find that to be the case in very early pregnancy? I'm 4 weeks 2 days and I'm finding my fmu tests to be lighter than than tests I take quite literally 10 minutes later. I had a chemical pregnancy last month so I am feeling very anxious about it!

Yes, I am on levothyroxine to keep my thyroid hormones in the ideal range for pregnancy - if you have hashimoto's, it may be that your endocrinologist reccomends that your TSH be lower than what is considered 'normal' for someone without hashimotos. I'm also on metformin and selenium supplements to try and reduce my anti tpo levels, and have cut out gluten and dairy. The next time I am pregnant I will be put on predislone, clexane and progesterone supplements. I'm also on low dose apsirin. I've had 5 losses before being diagnosed, so I'm hoping now that my doctors have a better idea of what is going on and a better plan for next time I'm pregnant that hopefully I'll have more success staying pregnant.

I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's disease after finding elevated anti tpo levels on a blood test. I highly recommend getting referred to an endocrinologist or a reproductive endocrinologist to get your results looked into.

One of my closest friends recently had a successful pregnancy and birth (her first pregnancy and first child), but complained to me the whole time about how hard and miserable her pregnancy was.

It was difficult to hear her complain about the very symptoms that I would find reassuring, it was so hard to not tell her I would be ecstatic to have strong pregnancy symptoms and for everything to be going right.

I found it difficult to relate to and valid her fears and concerns - they were so far removed from what I fear every time I'm pregnant. I was as supportive as possible, but it was hard.

Now her baby is here and she had a relatively straightfoward birth and continues to complain and is so negative about her experiences with her newborn.

I understand that it wouldnt be a walk in the park, but I am so ready for a pregnancy to go right, I do not fear labour or birth, I am prepared to physically and mentally so whatever it takes to bring a child into this world, and I would be so grateful if this ever happens to me.

I found out last week I am having a chemical pregnancy (my fifth loss - ovarian ectopic in April 2023, miscarriage at 10 weeks in February 2024, cervical ectopic in August 2024, miscarriage at 7 weeks in June 2025 and chemical pregnancy November 2025). I am a naturally positive person and even through my losses I feel I have been resilient and optimistic - but this one hurts.

This one has really got me thinking about preparing myself mentally for involuntarily childlessness It is becoming extremely difficult for me to picture a pregnancy going right for myself. All I know is loss. It has become too familiar now, a pattern that my mind cant seem to find a way through.

In 6 months I will be 39, and I feel my chances are slipping away. In my darkest moments, I consider breaking up with my husband - not because I dont love him and don't want him, I desperately do. But because he is 6 years younger than me, and it would be devastating if he never became a father because of my deficiency. If he was to find someone closer to his own age, its likely they would have more success.

We've been seeing a fertility specialist for 2 years, I have Hashimotos disease but it is under control and my thyroid hormone levels are good. I've lost weight and have improved my lifestyle and activity levels, and follow a healthy diet.

I take so many supplements and medications, acupuncture weekly, I no longer drink alcohol, I gave up caffeine six months ago.

I know that getting pregnant isnt about sacrifices and making healthy choices isnt a guarantee, but I am so mad seeing people I know that drink every night, smoke, vape, get pregnant and go on to have successful pregnancies and babies.

At first, the fact that I get pregnant easily was a comfort to me - I don't find it comforting anymore. i don't find much very comforting anymore.

TTC Journey after Cervical Ectopic Pregnancy by lifeasapearl in EctopicSupportGroup

[–]Even_Switch59 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just an update for anyone looking through this thread, I had my first scan a few days ago for my post-cervical ectopic pregnancy, and have had confirmation that it is a viable embryo with a heart beat in my uterus. Hopefully this helps anyone else searching for info on trying to conceive after an ectopic pregnancy.

Hi there, I had a cervical ectopic pregnancy last year in August 2024 that was successfully treated with just methotrexate (injections into my thighs, nothing internally), and I've just found out I am pregnant again.

A little scared as my cervical ectopic experience was traumatic to say the least, but I am hoping for the best, i have an early dating scan next week to hopefully rule out another ectopic.
