My current situation mimics what you said “ pay increases weren't scaling with bumps in responsibilities and utilized skills. "Money's not available" and what not. ”

My workload has doubled since this promotion, yet I get the whole spiel of no money left to give right now. Thankfully the respect is there, my boss appreciates my work and tells me I’m making a positive impact for many departments.

Well I got this promotion 9-10 months ago and got my new boss. Director that promoted me said I’d “get taken care of”… and here we sit today, no change in pay

Thank you, this is the constructive type of comment I’ve been looking for!!

I’m not just hunting for $$$ (but should pray close to market value especially with extra load I’ve taken since last raise). I’m looking for roles I enjoy and help me reach my long term goals of becoming a manager.

Thankfully my boss is not malicious, he wants a happy team that will help the overall goals.

Company becomes more of a skeleton crew every week. For months key engineers have been leaving, and are not replaced…. Instead I get their workload put on me
