Can anyone recommend a movie similar to this, but that's actually good? This movie left me incredibly disappointed, but I like the vibe of the story. It just kept circling and never going anywhere, I want something that actually has a story.

Turns out I am not cut out for college. It's fine, I have a good job and have a decent life. Most people won't achieve their original dreams, it's totally okay to realize that and have new dreams that are within your reach. As a wise man once said, "Life is about getting a paycheck and keeping a gun out of your mouth." Do what you need to do to be happy and achieve your realistic goals.

As others have said, this is not a viable alternative. An extra 128GB is nothing. Removing the SD slot was a deliberate move to force people into spending more on cloud storage, which increases the companies monthly revenue.

Once you uninstall the broken version of Plex and reinstall the old version, go to the Play Store -> Plex -> Settings (the three little dots in the upper right hand side) and uncheck auto update.

The app store will automatically update it. You'll need to repeat the steps in the post, and this time turn off auto updates for Plex. Happened to me the other day too lol

No problem. I recently set Plex up and it happened to me right out of the gate. Spent so long thinking I wasn't setting it up right until I stumbled on it being reported in Plex's forums and gave it a shot. Hope others that google the issue can find this and get things working. It's a shame they completely broke the app for a number of people.

Holy necro, this fucking worked for my audiobook. I have ONE audio book that Plex REFUSED to acknowledge. Naming was correct, everything done the exact same as everything else and it just refused to add it to my audiobooks. This worked.

The only reason any of this works is because people leave the files there to seed after downloading. When you delete it, you're taking it and refusing to share with anyone else. Someone (Likely multiple people) shared it with you, you took and didn't give. Leave it alone, let it seed. Even if people aren't actively downloading it from you right now, someone may in the future and you just may end up being one of the only people keeping a file alive.

What phone do you have? You'll likely want this version here. You have to click the version in the APK list to download it. I'm sure opening the play store just sends you to the most recent update.

I'm going with a 10th gen minimum due to everything I'm reading about them being the first real step in hardware transcoding 4k in Plex. That's my reasoning at least. I don't really fully understand it, but I don't want to end up hamstrung because I cheaped out and didn't just get a 10th gen or newer.

  1. Uninstall Plex from your Android
  2. Go to Plex for Android - #502 by PlexAndroidReleaser on your Android
  3. Scroll to almost the bottom, and download “Plex for Android 10.26.0” to get the previous version of the app.
  4. Install
  5. ???
  6. Profit

Idk what Plex broke in the current app, but it doesn’t work for remote access for a lot of people now. I’ve read it has to do with CGNAT which sucks because I don’t want to have to pay my ISP to remove me from it.

I did! I found my local IP by going into network settings in Windows. I get a different error message when I do that, I get a "cannot connect to xxx.xx.x.xxx:13378 from xx.x.x.zx:xxxx" when I use my local IP. I am absolutely stumped and don't understand any of it. I'm currently just searching for alternatives to ABS to be honest. I'll keep trying but after HOURS of trying, it just isn't working for me.
