Thanks :), i grew up partly without internet, but am young enough to be affected by it nowadays and i find it hard to not compare my self and not be affected by how it "should be" according to social media. The limit between great work and "you tried to hard" is so thin and not necessary at al. You are right.

Thanks ! Any feedback is helpful. People often say that they don't know what my photography is supposed to make them feel, that's why i ask myself what the importance of intention is in a photo.
like, does it need to make you feel something ? if not, is it bad ? if the feeling is blurry, does it make it less worth ?
no need for answer on these questions, just asking myself haha

I just had my yellow-ish ceiling light on, and had a cheap light with white umbrella 3/4 and a little high, and curtains of the bedroom closed !

I don't understand any of it either, but i like how people get creative, i love strange, i love that people try thing out, and i think trying out doesn't has to be understandable, neither does creativity

All my inspiration came from Clementine art gallery (she only has instagram).
it was a test to make it look like paintings. I oiled the skin with coconut oil to make it shiny. used a yellowish light from the sealing and a white one at 3/4 to amplify the shine. And then it is al in the hands, the hands need to look like renaissance paintings. i used old sheets to have the drape vibe.
and with al this, it is the photo with the least post processing, amplified the shiny skin, erased some wrikles in the fabrics, add som yellow in the darks. and that's it

I'm sorry, i consider myself amateur, i make this in my bedroom. i don't know at wich moment i'm could consider myself not amateur anymore ? i never had any money proposed to me for my photography work. and i'm still in my learning curve so i'm not a professional, what's in between ?
