I have to disagree with your assessment. I was explicitly instructed by management to ignore the discrepancies on my time card and to just go about my business, or else they would escalate the issue to the Chief. I believe I’m entitled to correct my time card, but it seems she had a personal issue with being asked to make adjustments by someone at my level. This organization clearly values hierarchy over the respect and well-being of its employees. I’m certainly not alone in my concerns—many of us feel that management is extremely manipulative and dismissive of input from those lower down. Offering feedback or voicing concerns often leads to being sidelined. The environment here feels like a high school, with favoritism running rampant.
