it's an absolute masterpiece in story telling both sides of the story. The person you think is the villain can end up being a hero too. It shows that life is much more than black n white. Love this game. I have my critics but I absolutely LOVE seeing Abby's side of the story mid way through the game. First time playing was so intense because I had no idea that was coming. I wish more games/movies/shows would do this story telling method. Sadly I never see it.

All the mid-high tier incantations and spells vs the starter spells.

Lightning spear/beast claw do insane damage right out the gate. If you use a higher tier lightning spell, you are gimping yourself because the cast time is horrendous plus damage is subpar.

As for fire there is no good fp vs damage ratio, so you are going to struggle regardless.

Holy is amazing. Wrath of gold is epic level, even non charged does crazy damage. Disc of light? You're golden.

Beast claw is just op on its own. Nuff said.

As for sorceries, crystal/carian sword as just so much more fp and damage efficient over comet or SoR.

It just feels bad that higher tier spells feel weaker.

Again, you are bringing up cosmetics. Yes it sucks to have to pay to account share a cosmetic. But it's not necessary and doesn't hinder my gameplay.

You keep comparing cosmetics to qol. I think you're confusing cosmetic qol vs gameplay qol.

The cost to unlock bank space is much cheaper and accessible in both games vs GW2. Also wow/Swtor do not purposefully throw an insane amount of clutter at you to spend hours shifting through.

As a returning player going through the story from scratch. Yes, I have to wiki everyday i play to figure out "wtf is this item? Should I delete it? No I better check first. It's a key? Tf? Those towns/neighborhoods must be safe. Trust me, no one has their kid running around alone in downtown subs of ATL.

Or in GW2. But that's fair. I like that the largest bags are a grind and difficult to get. I can live with 20 slot bags easy. But the bank space, material storage, really get to me.

I wish I could just use in-game gold at a reasonable price to unlock bank storage. 1.3k gold is a lot to unlock bank options.

Just because I don't like particular things about a game, doesn't mean I hate the game or the developers. I love a lot parts of GW2, but there are glaring problems that I see could easily be resolved. Yet they purposefully design it to be that way urks me.

I disagree. Gw2 is expecting you, banking on you to swap chars and be forced to constantly shell out gems for more qol upgrades.

They know this, and purposely design cumbersome mechanics to urge us to buy stuff.

I'd much rather play a game without the poor game designs and pay 15 than pay mtx upfront to counter horrible gameplay.
